De Rossi

Second the outcome that the press conference is about him staying in Roma. This was posted on Roma's Facebook page;

"Tomorrow at Trigoria, AS Roma will host the first fan who bought individual home game tickets online during Super Monday. For him, an unforgettable day is planned as in less than 24 hours he will be in the front row watching the Daniele De Rossi press conference at the Bernardini."

Having a competition among fans where the lucky winner get to sit on the first row when their Roma legend announces he's leaving wont happen.

Wrong, wrong and wrong. I watched the press conference in Italian, and all he said is " I never asked to leave ".

When the journalist asked if he could say that he would stay put at AS Roma, he said that's something he can't say for it is something for Roma to decide.

He never said he would stay put for sure, and also no " 31 Million £" bid has arrived for Roma to consider.

I believe it's one of those market sagas that continue until the very 31st of August.

Nice one for clearing that up.

Maybe its a "I never wanted to leave!" that most players who've been with their club a while do before actually leaving? It makes him look better in the fans eyes.

If he does chose to stay at Roma fair play to him. He's shown loyalty but no ambition.

Our Renato, not Renea?

as widely expected, DDR has just washed his face in front of the fans. he is not stupid enough to leave Rome with bad blood with his fellow citizens, just to come back 3-4 years later to spend the rest of an entire life there. I can see that it may look weird to civilized anglo-saxons but that just anepitome of typical southern italian melodrama.
that said, it should change very little IF the Club (MCFC) wanted DDR and were able to make clear to the counterpart (the SKINT CLUB) that, nowadays, is much and much better to show a dirty face in public rather to have an empty vallet.
I:E: the market is still open, I never tought for a moment that mr. Berti flew to Mancunia without the consent/interest of his Client, hence IF CITY will put enough money on the table (I mean not a silly amount, say 30 mil euro) Rome will be happy enough to lose the face in front of the fans.
Whether it will happen or not, there are still too many foggy curtains around the Club's drive to know it.

AND BEFORE, Ted and other trade unionists, who stand by the rights of poor directors start twisting those words, THIS IS NOT A DIG AT MARWOOD.
I HAVE STOPPED TO CARE, there are superior and qualified instances at the Club that will sort the problem out when will decide that the Club is ready for dominance. Don't even bother and try to wind me up.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!
