I would take anybody accept Real and Barcelona. Can we get English teams now ?
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Wow, i can not believe the dubious refereeing for Schalke vs Basel. A player sent off for nothing and then the most crass offside not given ! I dont care for Basel, but that refs performance stank.

You'd think Atletico would be the easiest but Costa is in blistering form, what the hell is it with them and strikers? They seem to fall arse backwards into these unbelievable players.

So will our chairman be taking the piss and dropping rent-a-quotes to the media about it, or does he have a bit more class than theirs?

this Newcastle v. Soton game should be interesting.

Remy's sure goal was cleared off the line already.

Chelsea wont reach 80 points this season but they aren't going to be dropping points at home to Palace. 2-1 now and a banker home win. They will drop points elsewhere though so its all good.

I can see them beating Arsenal though, I could imagine them being quite demoralized after today..

Arsenal will bounce back but I'm not sure it will be soon enough for them, having to play Chelsea next.

They seem to have an amazing sporting director as well as an amazing scouting network. For a while it seemed they were only getting in good strikers while switching all the other players but lately, they've found some real talent in their midfield as well.

Monchi in Seville is another sporting director that's been able to churn out quality on a consistent level for a long time. Impressive stuff.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
