Excellent stuff, the sort of twattish thing only a rag could do.

Green & Blue wrote:These are truly desperate times at the swamp. The defence and midfield is of lower mid table quality at best.Looking at the fixtures I thought they were gifted a favourable start to the campaign, but to see them manage just the one point from Swans and Sunderland is the stuff of dreams.
Not sure what kind of spending policy they are working by but they seem to have overlooked the weak areas within the team and are paying way over the odds for players.Di Maria is the only one that will make a major difference but at £63.9 million It's one of the most ludicrous transfer fees in history of the game. Not sure on the exact figure they have spent this summer but I'm pretty certain it can't be in balance with ffp rulings.

Ted Hughes wrote:The rags can pass ffp any time they want. It would just require the Glazers to take less money out for a season. Spend nowt on players the following season & Glazers take double their usual cut. FFP passed, Glazers have their full cut.
The problem will be, if this enormous, ridiculous, transfer fee inflating, spend doesn't get them into the Champions League. The Glazers will not do it again in a hurry if that money doesn't come in. Without the Champs League, it's a one off.
For that reason, I am hoping Liverpool, Arsenal & Spurs have good seasons this time round. Edit: and Everton.

And Swansea, champions league club after 2 games, they are the new Liverpool.

Imagine if that were true ? And City Chelsea Everton & Swansea finished as the top 4 ?
I wonder what rule change that would bring ?

I would just love to see Arsene's press conference after they failed to make the Champion's League because of Swansea.
I have no doubt should that happen, City would be challenged on the basis that we failed FFP and it directly affects the Whinger.
