We also look pretty toothless up front.

Yes we've qualified but I really didn't enjoy that.

I'd like to agree, but I can't. Through to the last 16 with a game to go. Yep, that's right, all done and dusted with a game to go allowing us to concentrate on the PL, allowing players to rest, allowing us a greater shot against Chelsea and Leicester in the games either side of Celtic. Losing tonight meant it wasn't guaranteed, ......... Oh, I won't bore you.

The ref was disgusting. This is the 3rd time in a row when Cacir fucked us in the Champions League, what happend with Fernandino is beyong bizzare.

That being said, Guardiola had another clueless tactical performance today. Pellegrini used to get a lot of heat around here after something like this. Pep is stubborn without a reason with the 3 in the back formation. A system that made us only problems when we had it.

Simple, it does not work with us, with our defenders it is impossible to do that. Also, he looks to have a complex against Borussia away from home, only one win.

Anyway, job done, but I am not pleased.

Did you not hear them Booing the manager has he walked on the pitch?

Simply supporting their team after a poor run of games. Shame a few of ours don't have that attitude. Seems we've now got to beat the likes of Barca every game.

Expectations eh.

Showing your bias there, you Rag/Dipper cunts.

PS. If BT do a filter on negative comments, you're all cunts! Where's the Monster gone!

Plus I've heard countless of times when the rags have come away with a point from someone like Basel or Kobenhavn etc "smaller" European (no disrespect to them at all!) club and if/when rags have in reality been shite it has just been said "it was professional performance, they got the job done".
100% bias I agree with you pal

Interesting how we see it different. I like to take everything into account, not saying you don't, mind, and appreciate its been a difficult period. We've won 3 of the last 4 but only one was a stand out performance, when the anger really kicked in. This was more a fortitude game where not losing was the only result.

We controlled the game in the main but got suckered and lost it for a few minutes. We regrouped with some good football and took the game to them again. Only the ref's strange decision changed the point from going for the win to defending against a loss.

Some say 'Grinding', some say 'Professional', yet we are called uninspiring.

Fuck that, were through!

It was tactically horrible in the first half. It's great we are through but that was worrying and Stones seems no stronger than Otter.

FFS. We've got the manager we were all wanking over for the last 3 seasons. We're through with a game to spare and yet so many of you are full of doom and gloom. Pep said during the 10 game unbeaten run that this team was far away from winning the Prem never mind the Chumps league and he was right. It will take him at least 2 more transfer windows to get the squad he wants. Pellers took this lot to the semis and then we bottled it - at least give Pep the chance to get us that far. For all you moaning lot, who else would you have in charge? Have faith in Pep - we've waited this long to get him and nobody was moaning when we were linked with him and most of you were creaming your pants at the thought of him taking over 6 months ago - to put it into context look at how Bayern are fareing under Ancelotti (with a better squad than we have) - a lot worse than when Pep managed them, and even Barca are not doing as well as they should in La Liga. Football fans are so fickle. Enjoy the ride. Judge Pep when he has the squad he wants. This one is not fit for his purpose....yet

Not a great performance obviously but professional enough and as stated by others we are through with a game to spare. And we did it with a few individuals way off their best. I have no complaints that we didn't push for the win in the last 20 as that would have been the only way we could have lost. Just need to see the energy and intensity back on Saturday as we will have to be very bright to get through Burnley's buses.

Again I wouldn't disagree with a word of that and yet it has to be the first time I've felt like turning off a City match with ten minutes to go because the entertainment value was zero and the end result was so evident. That's not right. That's not the way City make me feel.

I'm not angry with how things have gone this season. I think we are heading the right way, but we are looking a little jaded and predictable.

I think the fact we have now qualified could see us turn our attention to the league until the knockout stages next year and hopefully this will envigorate our form.

Hope so. There's something lacking at the moment, to put us in the top tier of teams in the world.
I've never felt that impatience before, so it is a bit disconcerting for me. Maybe it's the expectancy of what I feel will come under Pep. I like the rest of you can see the gaps that need filling in personnel but am probably spoilt by the kind of football that we have seen and want it all the time.

Listen, I didn't enjoy that tonight but I'll get over it. Let's do Burnley.

Another diagonal on Pep's five bar gates.
Serious stuff this winning business & I'm sure we are all feeling very serious after watching that assassination of a football game.
