Do you think a season or two of mediocrity is going to help us attract the players we need? Do you reckon Pep would be happy with mediocrity? Do you think the owner that’s put billions of his own money in to our club would be happy with mediocrity?

He should resign if hes not arsed

In fairness to pep, he looked as pissed off during that game as us, esp when raz missed the one on one. Not excusing his crazy decisions but he does.

I think his hands were tied with walker i think he was gased and couldnt do any more hence the zinchenko sub. Wouldnt be surprised if walker misses next game. Id rest as many as possible for cl game. We have room for error in that, after the results so far we have very little room for error in prem.
derby day the scores were level,

Probably the voice of reason, I must admit though I lost my temper watching that game. Even with the injuries, strange selection/ tactics we still should have won that game.
I do draw comfort from a couple of positives though. I thought Ruben Dias played well and when we get Laporte and Ake back our defence will be pretty good. Stating the obvious Foden did well and added some energy and desire, I do wish Sterling was back on the right where he belongs with Torres on the left. Let’s hope things get better

Pep thinks Aguero has a hamstring injury. Cracking end to a very disappointing day.

Every City fan in the world demanded we buy a top striker as it was fuckign obvious we cannot rely on an ageing Aguero.

Baldie knows best though...same as the Left Back situation....Baldie knows best,

how long some will keep blaming the players? Granted some turned out shite, At end of the day Pep chose them, the board backed him to the tilt. The responsibility falls with him. Pep is a great manager, but as it stands he's not the right candidate to take us forward. We are not progressing, more like regressing, this is not an overreaction, just being realistic, I'm not seeing any improvement or forward thinking, stuck with old methods that worked in the past but are found out now.

Pep can’t be arsed can he, Messi coming would have given him some energy back for it but he’s lost his mojo like he always does. It’s all been so intense there is nothing left for the manager and players.

The answer to all three questions is of course "no", but that wasn't the point I was making.

Replacing generationally great players with what we have will give only one outcome; the garbage we are seeing.

That said, I fail to see just what it is that Pep thinks Mahrez brings to the team. Selfish, negative, slow us down, weak in the tackle, occasionally cowardly, etc. His display today was truly awful. Some of Sterling's stuff too was abysmal.

Also, not getting another striker in was a diabolical bit of planning by the club. Rodri too, really not good enough and is ponderous at best. We look mid-table as it stands and if we keep getting injuries, top 6 will be a stretch. In our defence, the almost non-existent preseason is a problem.

Just so everyone understands clearly why we’re moaning...

It’s not like we’re playing great and losing or drawing. We’re watching the same mistakes, the same awful tactics, and the same players that don’t deserve to be in the lineup over and over and over. AND THAT IS BY THE BEST MANAGER IN THE WORLD!!

If he’d changed tactics, or learnt from his mistakes we could take it. He’s not learning anything and his pigheaded ways are pissing people off!!!

I don’t give a fuck we used to play Bury and Stockport. We NOW have the best manager in world and we’ve won everything in the past few years.

Most of us have followed City through all the shit. We’re entitled to ask WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!

Hes not the best manager in the world though is he - hes far from it, basically clinging on from yesteryear's successes..just like Morinho did.

Sorry Mase I cannot be bothered. The hate is pathetic. Pep has my support. The game frustrates me but not to the level of some.

I didn’t say when he stopped Beefy, I said “that’s put billions of his own money in to our club”. I didn’t state he continues to.
