Not sure what I’ve just read there. Where’s that Bloke with the Dodgy Glasses gif when you need it?

I would certainly not have used the word amazing to describe anything in this match,..yet there you are.....)) amazing.

Ha ha ha, it all depends on what you see. This team has been SUPERB this season and even the media has had to concede the fact.

I’ll complain when needed and point out issues when I see them but, as I do with my guys, I try to do things right and instead of complaining, point out where I think they can be doin things better rather than point out where I hint they’re going wrong.

And last, I grew up on the steps of the North Stand, latterly the Kippax, and didn’t give a fuck about the score. All I cared about were the people around me. City have always been a social club for me, and even though I I’m too far away to get to regular games whenever I do get back I get to meet up with at least someone I know.

Summary. We didn’t always win games, nothing changes for me.

As you were so specific, mate, wanted to make sure you hadn’t missed it.

Half decent performance with no major issues.

Game played at half pace, no injuries and only Bernardo to rest as he has insane energy.

Sterling needs to reset and start having a pop, this dribble all the way to the line shit is doing my head in.

Cancelo is excellent, just keep him ticking over.

West ham next, no idea what the team will be.

I suppose we can talk about it in a pre-game thread.

When we were shit we had to find other ways to get entertained......and yes , that was the people around us.
I grew up in Romily.

Back in those days players were paid nothing...today you have Sterling and company on hundreds of thousands a week so IMO they are up for a slagging when its they fuck up time and time again in front of goal.
Match threads are always OTT and then we calm down.

We do have a finishing problem with certain players and it should be that obvious, even to the deluded.

As Martin Samuel has just said ""The scoreline said two but the truer margin was nearer ten. If Manchester City ever recruit one of the prolific strikers with which they are constantly linked, maybe one day it will be''

PeP quite rightly goes berserk on the sideline, just like fans like me do on a message board....we both obviously see the same thing when we watch the match )))

Another performance where we faced very little danger and did enough at the other end to win.

I can’t decide if we have extra gears when needed or if opposition are just too scared to play lately, but it’s not been much of a contest recently.

Not complaining just strange to me.

We have a game-plan at the moment where we are starting fast and everyone is on it which is forcing teams back from the start. Add to that the fact that other teams are setting up to not even come out when we have the ball, and a lot of games are becoming almost a no- contest, for the poorer teams it is damage limitation from the start. Our run then continues, the numbers increase and the next one prepares to shut up shop again. Pep, his coaching staff but most of all the team should take great pride in the way we are playing. Last night in the dying minutrs, we had 3 players closing down in the top right hand corner in time added on which is some effort.
What I find crazy is that we don't have a striker on the pitch - if there was a proven finisher up top, there would be some serious dickings being given out but thats seems churlish to write when we are 19 not out
Happy Hammers next up, one at a time and let's go again

No no no no we are rubbish, what game plan? Sterling doesn't score hatrick each game. Useless little midget, sell him next window, it's over, we never win whilst he's in the team.

There clearly is a finishing problem especially given the amount of chances we created.

Whether we do well in this competition will largely depend on how much we can get out of Aguero.
We absolutely need him to hit top form in the latter stages of this competition. That might well be too big of an ask, we will see.

Look at what PSG have and Bayern have. They have players who wont dick about in front of goal. And that at the top level is the defining difference.

We will get away with it in the premier league playing average and poor teams but we wont get away with it in the latter stages of this competition.

That sums it up for me, but people think that there is an agenda against Sterling, Gabby or Mahrez.
There isn't, it's just the desire to solve our existing issues in order to be safe later.

Everyone was shouting: fix your defence. He did, not look where we are on the back.

I don't think he needs to sell Sterling and Gabby, but give them a proper bollocking. Sterling was upset he got sub last night, you could read it on his face. Why? Because he was thinking he is having a good game.
That's the problem.

What is it about 19 wins on the spin, top of the PL by 10 points, in the final of the Carabao, quarter finals of FA Cup and just negotiated the away league of our first CL knockout game with ease that makes you such a happy clapper Beefy?

St Marcus receiving his Blue Peter badge was the lead item on BBC Sport NW this morning ahead of a brief mention of our record breaking CL victory.
Tweeted this @BBCNWT Just watched old footage of Marcus Rashford receiving his Blue Peter badge as the lead item on BBC Sport NW ahead of the briefest possible mention of Man City's record breaking CL victory last night . Yet more simply blatant United biased marketing - disgusted of Stockport.
