I was thinking just the same, why did Madrid fans have no reported problems, it’s always the dippers isn’t it, they always have someone to blame all the time, disgusting vermin disgrace to the nation.

The big fear I had all season was that the Cl final could end up a City v Dippers game.
As you assert, the Dippers have a long time record of trouble causing in major games, then being backed by their club, the Merseyside Police and the media.
Not only did I fear the reputation of City and more importantly the reputation of our fans being dragged into the mire globally but, as we have seen with deaths at both Heysel, Hills'bro and the disgusting attack on the City coach, my major fear was severe injury and possible deaths of our fans in what would almost certainly have been carnage.
Maybe a bullet well dodged.
