The fact Bayern tried to convince Tuchel to stay shows how terrible the market is for top class managers.

Or that they are a fuck up of a club internally and they are getting/already have a bad reputation in Germany

Still Pot 1 - they've done away with the league winners automatically going in Pot 1. Not that it'll matter, probably, because I'm yet to see a transparent explanation of how the group stage will be drawn/played fairly while guaranteeing 'more top-draw fixtures' than before, as promised by UEFA.

Solely on coefficients, with CL and EL winners also in Pot 1. We're in there, but Leverkusen won't be unless they win the EL, I think.

I don't see how the league will work at all. I've looked at the European ice hockey championship, which uses a similar format to that which is going to be used, but can't make head or tail of it without more background info.

That's a step back isn't it? Thought they got rid of the coefficient as the likes of gonners finishing 4th yet getting pot 1, I guess the rags, gooners and dippers all complained because we keep winning the league 'it's so unfair' wankers!!

Coefficients were always there, but the winners of the top 6-8 leagues (depending on whether CL and EL winners also won their leagues) were always put in Pot 1, irrespective of their coefficient points, with those only being used from Pot 2 onward. I've started a new thread to explain/discuss it all :)

Chelsea briefing against the idea of Tuchel, Conte or Mourinho coming back. Maresca is a possibility. Bayern could go for Pochettino.

New manager will have no money to spend either. Chelsea have to sell before they can buy. This is bollocks but shows why ffp is just a total fiasco.

“Players costing £592m were sold for £203m, although accounting rules mean that generated a profit of £63m.”
