You don't need world beaters defence to beat Norwich, Southampton ect... Our defence let us down. Whether they were good or shite, they didn't step up. I get that you need your best defender but some of those teams we lost to we could or should without sounding arrogant beat them without Laporte.
Hopefully coming season these will be addressed.

It's not just the defence that's to blame either, it's across the board as the defending from the front hasn't been consistent this season. We showed what we're capable of against Madrid, bring that effort into every game and we concede very few chances.

alternative to Kob is Jose Gimenez of Athletico Madrid. He'll cost a fortune to prize him away, think his release clause is 110m euros or something.

We need to unearth a gem, I'm starting to have doubts about Kob, his age and pace is a concern the more I think about it. One name springs to mind is Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzeg, only 21, strong with pace, bags of potential, younger version Kob but with pace, worth a punt

Upamecano signed a new deal last month and his release clause is likely pretty high.

Agree our defence let us down at Norwich, I think that's when he realised Otter and Stones was a disaster waiting to happen.
Our forwards let us down at Southampton, 1-0 to a well taken goal. We had loads of chances to win.

I'm not convinced by him either. Garcia is different in that he wants to go back to Barca and has made up his mind so it's not as if we haven't had the opportunity to keep him. It's a shame as he looks the part

Looks like we are about to move on from Koulibaly, which is, my opinion, the best decision.
Making any deal with Napoli is a nightmare, I would avoid any time of negotiations with them.

I think Skriniar will be again in our radar.

Just because Dortmund rightly used their leverage to their advantage and didn't give into Woodward's bullshit doesnt mean Sancho snubbed them and its time to laugh at United. Laugh at them for thinking they could get Sancho at a discount. Laugh at them for not being able to bully another club. Laugh at them still thinking theyre United and that will get deals over the line. But you can't confidently laugh at them for being snubbed by Sancho; its just a matter of when he joins and not if.
