What are squads for is they aren't used properly? We had a more than good enough side out tonight to be competitive and come away with some points and we were one sitter and one freak goal away from doing that.

I would of liked to have seen Balotelli come on but apart from that i thought we were unlucky tonight. You couldn't say that at Wolves.

Mate, I'm not being disrespectful here when I ask this question but, when we were at 1-1 would you have taken Paddy off or Milner?

I'm rapidly losing faith and Mancini is looking more like Rafa by the week. :-(

Two more defeats in the next two games and the media pressure will be relentless and unforgiving. He has to turn this around immediately and get everyone back on side.

Sorry but we weren't unlukcy, we were fucking shite.

We weren't shite at all, if were going to be rational in debating the game then lets start telling it how it is. We may have not played well but we weren't shite, the draw was the fair result on the reflection of the game.

I actually would of taken off Zabaleta and put Balotelli upfront and put Milner inside with Vieria to be honest but out of those two players i would of taken Vieria off. That decision didn't cost us the game though.

If a player needs and craves a manager to make them wanna play football I think that player should retire.
Most of our players are not that good as paid. End of.
As said before though we could/should be playing Barnet tonight in the Sherpa Van trophy if not for the sheikh.

Our passing was hopeless early on and barely improved, we allowed them too much time on the ball in the middle of the park and we weren't clinical going forward.

All that is a recipe for being poor when you consider the level of players we had on the field compared to them.

Its frustrating, but it really doesn't make sense to change manager again. Give him time, otherwise we will be adopting teh revolving door policy which will also get us knowhere, and just makes the owners look like trigger happy idiots.

Lets not disrespect Lech poznan here, i thought they were ok when they played us, they battered Juventus at their place and they sacked their manager last night, they were up for it tonight, they are a decent side. One that we should be beating at home and looking to get a point away from home. We aren't good enough yet to be saying we expect 3 points away from home in europe.

As disappointed as everyone - I didnt see any lack of efforts from our available B team, fighting with some bad luck on a very slippery pitch - definitely not the best stage where our Lads' best abilities could have shined - vs. opponents which were fighting for the life.
All in all we just need 3 more pts to make the KO stage of the comp and that why the manager choosed to save as much energies for the next VERY VERY IMPORTANT TWO GAMES coming in SIX days time.

The Dedryck carom worth a Ronnie O'Sullivan - maybe a little breath of Typical City - but once we will have made 3 pts at home vs. the Austrians it will just count for nothing.

That's It.

My initial reaction was that Vieira sgould come off. We needed more energy in the midfield and Vieira doesn't supply that. Some of his passing was poor too, rarely accurate and never used to threaten their defence.
I can understand removing Milner, We will expect him to be charging around againsr West Brom so his coming off was quite reasonable.
Without either Tvez or Silva we look as though we will never score. which is somethong that also needs addressing.
The Boyata thing with the 2nd goal was just unfortunate. Dedryck will live and learn.
Swp seems to be continuing his slide backwards.

If we know this, then so do Mancini and marwood. I think some of this stuff will be addressed in January.

I'm not sure we can 'afford' to bring in another manager, the UEFA ruling (or FIFA or whoever it is) over our break even figure, means we can't just make wholesale changes and no matter who we bring in will want to do that, as there is no doubt there are players in that 25 (or whatever the number is) man squad who you and any incoming manager would want to see the back of and we can't pay a premium for their replacements - I think you're right as frustrating as it might be, I think we're going to have to sit this one out until the pill turns a bit sweeter...

It wasn't the worst performance of the last couple of months, but I swear on life (and I'm as optomistic as they come pre match), my mate text me the team because I was still in work and I thought the worst... I said "we certainly won't win with that team unless Poznan hand it to us".

I'm no Mystic Meg, no ore than I was when it was obvious that we needed early changes against Wolves.

This lies with selection and/or man management, just like it did against Arsenal and Wolves.

I DON'T want him gone now, but its getting harder to want him to stay. And that's my God's honest opinion, so shove any pre aimed agendas up your fucking arse.

I don't think that SWP will be the only one to find himself beyond Mancini's plans.
SWP, Vieira, Bridge and Adebayor all seem to be beneath the standard we require.
