we need to lay down the rules, not to just tevez,to every player thats at the club,in fact to every player that intends to join this mighty club.

You mean something like..........

".....Yes, hello...., welcome to Sky......sorry to interupt but we've just had some breaking news......apparently there's been a serious accident at Carington Training Ground.............. we understand that a player has accidentally shot himself in the head, eight times......... unconfirmed reports that it may be former captain, Carlos Tevez.........."

ha ha brilliant!

no one is bigger then this club,we pay your wages, its us that make the rules.
in times before we couldnt do that, but now we fuckin can,we are that big, and anyone or any player that thinks otherwise should be told where to fuckin go.

Mate, I think what the club say in press releases for our benefit and what the club tell Tevez's agent will be two very, very different things.

I suspect it his agent who was behind this, though clearly I have hardly got my finger on the pulse from here.

Why let it ruin your weekend, people? We are in the hunt for the league title and if Tevez does go, we are better-equipped than any team the world to replace a player of such quality with another of similar quality, if slightly different qualities. And if he stays, we will still have Tevez, which will not be too bad.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Given our money bags ruining football image we could come out of this very well. His agent is trying to pull a fast one and hopefully unlike United with Rooney we wont fold like a pack of cards.

I know a lot of what is written is bollocks and hyperbole, but the sheer disdain towards the media this thread started out with was pathetic and has made some of you lot look rather silly.

I've just had a quick look on twitter and all the top journos from the broadsheets to the tabloids are tweeting their support to Neil Ashton who wrote the story in NOTW. They all mentioned that he is well informed in this area. I have posted once here before Neil Ashton has a source within City who is leaking him the stories. If Neil Ashton writes a story about City. It came from City.

Typical greedy agent bullshit.

This doesnt mean that Carlos is unhappy or wants to leave, I personally suspect that his agent is simply after a bit of extra cash.

In two weeks time the papers will be all about wantaway Adebayor and the january window!

This is my favourite guess too.
Even if Itake the occasion - typical broken managerial babelfished Image - to stress the point that the Club must use this issue to send out a bold statement either to the market and competitors.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Two questions...

1.> Where did the info come from / Who is the source?

2.> Why?

If Neil Ashton got his info from within City (which is most probable), has it been leaked deliberately by the Club so they can win the PR battle and by so doing, make Tevez look a twat?

Right so, that's BREACH OF CONTRACT. The club can sue him all the way back to Beunos Aires.

What I'd like to know is why, if the club don't conduct contract negotiations mid season, Tevez's agent was allowed to put forward "numerous" requests for improvements and extensions? Sounds very fishy to me, like the club's numerous responses were not accepted.
