My scouse mate at work has had his head in his hands all afternoon,

When you point out Robinho, Berba, Rooney, David Villa, along with countless others cost less. Then rub in the fact he has played 11 games this season.

I would value him at 8 million. The new owner obviously knows fuck all about football.

They should have just played out this season and bid again in the summer once he was fit again and had had another 10 or so games at this level. Its a panic buy at its best.

I know I heard a statment from dalgliesh only about a week maybe 2 weeks ago saying he'd have to make do with what he'd inherited as far as the jan transfer window was concenred, now they're trying to buy all and sundry!

Very poor from City - a couple of backups would have done and how come we can´t offload Jo or SWP - people laughing at dippers might not be 12 months hence I fear. Chelsea shoe in to finish above us now - we´re hanging on for 4th imo. The thought of Jo playing any major part in our run in is frightening-
Oh well another 3 months off my fuclin life by seasons end - I´ll keep my expectations to 5th and get hope to fucl I´m wrong

Whats all the gripe about not going wild in the market.We have done since the club was taken over and have assembled a great squad and also have at least a dozen players out on loan that we will have to try and move on in the summer.
