Things were looking so gloomy midweek, now I'm laughing my pectorals off.

Enjoyed the game , who wouldnt with a comfortable win and some very good football. BUT that was not a great performance.

Even in the first half when we did play some great stuff we still gave WBA a few too many sights of goal and Joe did have to make 2 or 3 decent saves. And then the second half where we were abject for so much of it. Mancini I believe was livid at some of the midfield and defending play and quite right too. A better team than WBA would have punished us and who knows how it would have gone if we had conceded one goal.

But 3 nil is 3 nil and a top result, but I think we all know we need to be much better next Saturday. I think we will be.

Sky Sports could have had any number of headlines - birthday boy getting a hat trick, City back on track for Derby etc

What do they go for ?

Second-half frustration for City
Platt admits poor second 45

F**cking cocks - I hate them - with or without Keys, Gray, chuckle etc.

Let's just sit back and rejoice in the appearance of that rarest of beasts.....CITY WIN and UTD LOSE!!!!

Thought we cruised the first half and let the game go quietly to bed in the second - a thoroughly professional perfomance imho.

We let it go to bed only because WBA were crap despite having many excellent openings.
