Lost tonight because of one thing.

Balo-fucking-telli.

I'm about ready to drive the twat back to Italy myself.

Honestly he is becoming the only city player I have ever genuinely hated as much as one of the scum. Harsh but true.

Top marks to the other 10 though, you gave it everything in the face of the adversity of a bent ref, a bunch of Ukrainian cheaters and Balo's utter madness.

Kudos to you all.

Don't feel bad about this game to be honest. Yes red card was crap but aside from that the best game we've played in ages I reckon.

We looked like we wanted the win, we looked like we wanted to score and we defended perfectly. Commentators said we played without the safetybreaks on and I mean why don't we always do that? We had PLENTY of chances and still controlled the game 100%.

First time in many, many games I've seen a breath of life in this side and as long as we play positively as we did today the result don't matter too much. We'll win most games if we keep playing like this.

This should be a normal game for us, but because of the lackluster stuff as of late this was a good game. Let's make this our standard.

So am I the only one who was pissed off front to back about that performance?

I don't question the player's endeavours, they put a shift in tonight like they did against Reading. But I'm sick to fucking death of seeing these shit house slow tippy tap tactics we've been seeing for months on end now. Always choosing the wrong ball, players making wasted runs (or more likely never moving or looking for space to receive a pass bar Tevez and Silva), everything being so fucking pedestrian. Aside from Kolorov's wayward effort early into the second half, I cannot remember a shot on goal up until Dzeko did brilliantly to bring that long ball down and swivel a left footer which unfortunately went straight into the keeper.

Ballotelli is a bell and luckily (I guess) his idiocy will take the heat off what should be focused on, our tactics. But his sending off meant nothing, we still got schooled by a pack of diving pricks and a bent ref, when really we have the personel to be able to overcome that.

We went out with a whimper tonight and deserved everything we got. And I can't get why, but I'm astonished that people are actually pleased with our performance tonight or any as of late.

Being knee jerk and cunt like, I'd just like to point out our form and general tactics have been fucking awful ever since we gave Platt employment.

Well played to some of the lads tonight for putting some graft in and trying to make things work, it's not your fault you're being forced to play in a crap system.
