So will their new manager have the 'new manager effect' for his first game in charge? I hope not, cuz the way I see it, it'll be against us ...

LOL ... quite possible, and knowing them probably this is all pre-planned to be orchestrated exactly like this.

But on a serious second thought ... I think he realised that the landscape is about to change and City will seriously dent his legacy here and he has bailed out very quickly, after the hurt of last season he bet on RVP this season, which if he was thinking or planning long term, he wouldn't have paid £24m for an injury prone getting old striker but his aim was just this season ... get a win back over City and get the hell out on a winning note ... knowing full well that his whole 'always winning' legacy is about to turn into 'always struggling' one ...

With the arrival of City, the scum were always going to lose the top dog status, with or without him ... this way now that he has left after winning a title back in our early days, he can still be remembered as the one taking them and leaving them at the top and their impending downfall being blamed on the new guy, whoever that may be ... chicken shit, bailed out with tail in his legs ... not coming back!

Nobody can match his consistency of success, not even Mourinho. Quite a re-build required there too.

Must be good news for the 'noisy neighbours', all told. I personally expected him to stay until they reached another CL final.

Bill Kenwright (Everton chairman) has told Sky Sports News that 'a deal is not yet done' for David Moyes to the Scum.

Not yet done is a far cry from not on the cards.

Pretty funny seeing them all lamenting all over the shop isn't it? I wonder if there'll be a candle-lit vigil? It's like they're the new Liverpool! Oh......wait...

Moyes to the RAGs, Martinez to Everton, Jackett to Wigan.

When Michael Thomas won the league at anfield in 1989. Everyone thought that Liverpool wouldn't win a title again. They pissed it the next season. Never since. 23 years ago. Just saying

Damn good call, if Wigan get relegated Jackett would be a good Championship manager, I get the feeling that Everton have been lining up martinez for a bit, and as for Moyes to the Rags - SAF's representative on earth. I don't think any of them will work out well.

As an aside, should the above all happen that'll make Bobby the 8th longest serving manager at one club in England - how mad is that?

He's out of contract in a fortnight, so not much Kenwright can do other than stop him signing up just yet. How much compensation is he expecting?

This has obviously been on the cards for months and Moyles (sic) has clearly been tapped up. Wonder if the rags will get grief about it? Thought not.

What a great day its been. Its been a long time coming. It will be weird without him at the helm indimidating people, telling lies and bending the rules to gain every advantage he can on his opponents pretty much by whatever means he can.I have an incredible dislike for the man and how he operates but you still have to regognise his achievements. So glad City got to turn things around and become great again while he was still in charge.I will never forget the look on his face the moment he realised we had clinched the league title in the most dramatic style.I'm glad we all got to see that.
