Also, I think the comments about playing time arent as big as people might think. Of course this is just my opinion.
At Malaga he was unquestionably their best player and surely the first name on the team sheet when fit. Therefore he is used to that sort of constant playing time. However, at City (and Real for that matter), there are other big time players just like him (and im sure he knows that) that will be battling for spots and playing time. I have faith that he understands rotation is key is a long season with many competitions. Especially since his position is one in which we have Silva, Nasri, Milner, and now Navas to play in (putting difference in skill aside). What I see his comments as meaning is that he doesnt want to be Alexis Sanchez. Big time player at a club, moves to a bigger club in hopes of winning titles, and is on the bench more often than not. At City, with Pellegrini, I dont see that as an issue but I do think the Falcon will rotate the squad and play whoever is fittest and performing the best, as any smart manager would.
