You mean there are more than two decent restaurants??

Perhaps Txiki is using that to lure all these news signings, I guess Tevez was too busy driving at warp speed to notice them lol

Does anyone else think that the fact that Negredo played with Navas at Sevilla was one of the deciding factors in our bid to sign him (to help whatever anxiety issues that Navas has left)?

I am not saying he is a bad player that we just signed as a security blanket. I am just wondering if other people think that might have tipped the scales.

Not at all. The issue wouldn't be when he is playing football. It is the rest of the time away from the pitch when he would most likely have issues. So what would we sign Negredo and have him live with Navas. If he still has in issues left wouldn't it be better to have him bring family over to stay with him.

I agree with the Dub in that Navas doesn't need Negredo for a cuddle if he misses home (he's got his wife & family here for that) but I do think that Saul's pretty much on the money inasmuch as the fact that they already have a well developed repartee on the field would be a consideration but not the deciding factor.
I think that their playing relationship will help them to settle into the perm and I'm really looking forward to the "it's Navas to Negredo and yes it's in the net!!" moments that I'm sure will be tripping (albeit often unwillingly) off the match commentators tongues.
Just love seeing rat boy with his "just sucked a lemon" face on!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Throw Silva, Yaya, Aguero, Dzeko, Nasri and hopefully Jovetic into the mix and there's plenty to look forward to.

I'm not saying it's not exciting. It is, and to be honest I'd prefer a star to be made at City rather than bought in. But those two are not nearly the most exciting Spanish names out there. Just being real.

I could put on the blue tints and declare that Navas and Negredo are world class and will win us the league but i'm just not sure.

What are you thoughts now?? :-)

Thanks for digging this gem up. Still not as bad as the time I declared city wouldn't score three second half goals past porto(?)

I've admitted I was way of the mark with these two. Fantastic players.

Haha - well done LB 2. I dont think there's anyone that hasn't done something like that on here. I got NQDP a beauty once but I cant remember what about!
