Does anyone know why Negredo Goal was ruled out,i have been watching on Russian television.Looked a perfectly good goal to me.

Whew...

Well i will say garcia did better i. Je second half as it didnt seem his fault that we were under so much pressure.

Kolarov's defending was back to normal unfortunately...

We really seem to get nervous in these european matches...no?

Every time one of their players decided to run at us it seemed so easy it was scary. But heyho we didn't play great and took 3 points so the same result in a fortnight and we are through.I will take that.

I never thought their players were a real threat

They shouldn't have been but they were at times until something last ditch stopped them.Zaba once with his heel,Kolarov when it looked almost like it had hit his hand, the last ditch one for Joe's save and a couple of other runs that got stuck. We should have scored more though and on a good day would have got 5

If we defend like that Sunday we will be spanked. Can't believe Garcia is there just can't get me head around it at all. Will someone tell my why Richards isn't in there.

We lack the killer instinct at times and the conviction to go for the jugular. But do you think that is because the players deep down know we are penetrable at the back?

We should have won more convincingly tonight. They were no better that Viktoria Plzen. If we don't put at least four past them at home it will
be a poor outcome. I know most will say the win is the most important factor, but against teams like that, we need to win more convincingly to improve our confidence for future games.

considering the shit state of the pitch (which clearly hampered our passing game), i thought we did ok. 3 pts. and now fully on track to progress.

Result all important. Fantastic save by Joe at the death but again we should have been out of sight already.

Special shout-out to Martin Tyler who was almost in tears when that Cska goal was disallowed. He also set the record for the number of Man U name drops in a commentary the biased bastard. Schmeichel was a turd as well, but thank god for Sounness who provided a voice of reason. You'd think we were playing Chesterfield this evening the way they spoke about Cska.

4 points from the next 2 home games and we are through. Radical thought - why not win them both and make Bayern have to get something from us on the final game. We can have a free swing at that game as nobody expects us to get anything from it.

Please please please dont play Garcia on sunday. Otherwise we are fuct at Chelsea.

Need to play Micah at CB on Sunday.
As said, we should have been out of sight tonight the chances we had, but it was often a heart in the mouth job when they attacked.
It's not right we need to score at least 3 goals to be sure of a win.

Carragher & Souness just explaining how Lescott would have easily cleaned up both the goal & the chance at the end when Garcia ended up on the floor.

All basically saying they think City could win the fucking thing if the Count stops being a dick with his tactics/selections.

Agree. He would have won both headers with ease. I really don't blame Garcia at all, as its not his fault he's shit at CB...just baffles me that MP insists on playing him.

Its true, the long balls coming in are bread and butter for a seasoned CB like Lescott. Garcia struggles to be a midfielder so it baffles me why he's in defence

I think MP always want a left footed with a right footed as central defensive players. That's why Lescott won't ever play with Nasty!
