City simply posted the video and plenty of articles are instead focusing on the ridiculous comments made by his agent, as opposed to City having done wrong, which is what the initial outburst was.
In the end, Yaya's the one who's losing face here. Granted, he might not have said anything at all, it could all have been a ploy of his agent, he has a reputation after all. However, what's really hurting Yaya is that he himself has made no comment.
For such an outburst of this magnitude, why wait? I'd immediately make a statement saying my agent was wrong and that I did not say and feel any of this.

For all we know, Yaya didn't tweet anything at all & finds out about it the day after, & then reads loads of comments from City fans saying 'sell the cunt'.
So often, our fans are ready to jump on one comment & ram it down a player's throat, even without bothering to find out if he said it or not. Demand loyalty from the players but then turn on them as soon as they say something we don't like.
It's exactly the same thing. Loyalty works both ways & most City fans have none for the players, so why expect it back ?
For most, it's just a job & a chance to do what they love doing & have success at it. One or two grow to love the club, like Micah Richrds for example. What great suppot he's had.
Most of the players are not people you would want to go on holiday with, they are hired guns & that's not just at City, it's at Barca, Real, rags, Liverpool; all of them.
If Yaya refuses to play give him some shit. If not, why not just all grow up & see what happens, instead of making it worse ?
Sorry mate I'm not buying it.
With tevez, I said there was two sides to that story.... but yaya's manager, or "dad" as he likes to call him, mouthing off to every news outlet there is. Then yaya's twitter account is "hacked", then yaya says nothing to call the whole thing off?
It's too much. Either he is a fucking moron or he is a disrespectful cunt.
I really can't see how this can be explained away.
Or he's not a reader of internet gossip & doesn't think it's serious.
His agent has now apparently backtracked on just about everything btw & says yaya wants a coaching job at City when he retires & has no offers of deals with other clubs 'as he has a 3 year contract at City'.
So does that make him more or less of a cunt ?
When City fans ask for loyalty, they could actually earn it by giving people the benefit of the doubt in this kind of situation. Many don't, so have no case imo. We are all guilty of this at different times, but this kind of bollocks brings out the worst in us imo.
This agent shite is par for the course in many countries & often in this one nowardays.

The link above has a video of the interview he gave exclusively to Bien Sprots in Qatar (where he is with his national team), this is apparently in the last day or so and he does mention his agent and his comments ...
To me, when he mentioned not being recognized and appreciated for his efforts again, I think his gripe is not being named POTY and with English FA, and English media more then City itself, and thus he is OK with (and angling for) a move abroad ...
Bye bye you fool!

Yaya doesn't say he wants to leave he has said what I have heard him say in interviews last year and before, you never know in football, we will see. He doesn't reference his agents quotes and just mentions Dimitri is always on the phone with him.

A friend living in Middle East heard it LIVE when it aired where he was asked questions and he replied ... this is from yesterday (21/05/2014) ... it was him on the phone this morning that I went looking for this video clip ...

Really??
He is saying he is focused on WorldCup while his agent is focused on opening up things ... he says, he is 100% with his agent, and whatever he (the agent) does, he is behind him ... he says, there are people talking about him, and at the club too, and yes everything is open ... and we'll see after the worldcup.
What's not clear there? To me, he's angling for a move ... simples!
