Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I guess this is where a captain can have a word with the players and try and lift them with the "lets go away from here now with our heads held high - win, lose, or draw" but I can imagine Kompany just sat in the corner of the dressing room working on his post-match speech to he media.

True enough. But Barca gave us a chance early doors with some iffy passing etc & we are so shit we can't get players forward to join the attacks & we can't get players back to help defend. Messi, as usual, got them playing, but even when Barca aren't doing anything special, our players are like 50 year olds.

Messi is different class. The least we should expect is that our players can cover the ground like the rest of theirs.

Messi plus workrate, is the biggest difference between these sides. It's not allround ballplaying brilliance in every area, in fact that have even produced some bad passes. It is so much easier to do stuff on the ball against us than it is against them.

The lack of movement, even from Milner, is fucking ridiculous.

So we don't have Messi, Barca's work rate, or their movement/footballing intelligence seemingly. Other than that we're equal....

Meanwhile Tevez smashes one in for Juventus.
How we could do with a player like that to lift the side tonight.

Well the post had a bit of a stormer in that first half. Otherwise... ughhh.

Depressing to see how much better these are. Though they are such hateable little fannies. Having this card-happy imbecile of a ref helps not at all. Though he easily could have sent Nasri for a walk.

Is Sagna playing at all? Do Nasri or Toure feel at any point compelled to help out over there in light of this?

It's like a school boy team that have all agreed with each other to not dare show giving a shit and anyone that does will get bummed in the bath later.

They are all purposefully scared. It's not natural, where are Milners balls?

Yaya is blatantly taking the piss out of the heart and soul of our glorious club, right in the middle of the pitch.

I can stand bring outplayed, I cannot stand being out tried.

We are being battered because Barca sniff a total lack of blood and they are all to happy to actually take the shitting piss out of the champions of England. It's not acceptable to see grown giant millionaire men crumble after 15 minutes.

Fuck off Toure, Kompany, Nasri, Kolarov, Hart, you are soulless vampires.

Yet again, we call for kids to play for us because at least they would try. Pathetic

Pathetic management too.

When you have a lazy cunt like Yaya in the team then your not going to get anywhere - hes a cocky lump of shit in this game...Id take him out now.
Id also take Milner out..hes even more embarrassing running around like a chicken with no head and gets a Sunday league nut meg to make us look even more embarrassing - hes a fuckign cart horse that does not belong on the same pitch as Barca.

Navas needs to come on to protect that other clump if shit Sagna..infact get him off.

3 subs Id do right now....
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I think Tyler was more bothered about the nutmeg that Messi did on Milner.

First of all let's be clear that Barca are a world class team and they have the best player on the planet and he is playing like it.They also have a work ethic that is 2nd to none. So let's not be crazy and think we should be dominating or stopping them having any chances.

However, we are looking so open it's ridiculous at times and at it's worst when we attack and it breaks down.Whether we play 4.4.2 or 4.5.1 doesn't matter a jot when you have 4 players who are not involved in the game when we lose the ball in a forward position. For their goal we had plenty forward but as they broke the regulars were jogging back and I doubt they were breaking sweat.

Easy to blame Sagna for leaving his full back position but if he doesn't there is a free man in the middle and with Messi you can be sure he will find the free man wherever he is.

It's been said before that Fernandinho has at least 2 jobs to do and it's there to see again tonight and I think he is putting in a real shift. Milner is working hard but his ability on the ball tonight has been dire and it's those silly balls given away which create so much danger.

I can see Fernandinho getting sent off even if he doesn't do anything serious ( it is a CL game) so maybe Fernando will take his place but I would also like to see Navas and Frank on as well.None of that will happen until or unless we go 2 down.

We havce given the ball away so often it's scary. In the late run from Messi he first played a 1.2 with MDM and then another with Vinnie and still had the ball on the edge of the D. What's that all about!!

Gut feeling and just because I am in a bad mood I think tonight signals the end of Yaya,Nasri,Milner and probably Kolarov.

Take Messi out & there is absolutely nothing Barca have done in that half that we haven't seen City do in the past, but they are working twice as hard to close down. Iniesta looks faster and sharper than people like Milner, Silva, Nasri. That really should not be the case. As for Yaya..
