I actually lolled at this when I first saw the rumours. Causing several Belgians to give me strange looks. This is going to piss off all the right people, as much as Sterling. Great signing imo. We need a player like this for the squad more than we need Pogba imo. Especially as we don't know what we would get from Fernando.

i don't mind a Villan at all...good people when they're here in FL and good fans. Not my fave Brummie side, but i like them a lot better than most others. And they're a side like we were a decade ago...sleeping fucking giant. Loads of history. Great fans. So i feel for them with this takeover garbage and having this tapped out American owner who just realizes how hard this is. Sadly, Villa fans don't realize it, but MON did a fucking 'Irish Redknapp' on them and they've been fucked ever since. Those investments were all shit, and while they had a couple good years flattering to deceive it all went to shit. The only way back is some serious investment and until that happens they'll be an absolute shithouse to play for i feel.

Much rather have Delph than Wilshere.

Wilsheres attitude reminds me of Adam Johnson.

Don't know how you embed the youtube video - but if you click on his message to villa fans after watching the video above, his message and wink is quite funny looking at it now!

although just noticed it was posted in Jan - not after his recent 'U' turn....

I don't mind them either. I feel sympathy for them if this hurts, but I also have to say that they were 'giving it large' about how they had a 'proper' owner, who would look after them, compared to HRH who wanted a toy, & would bugger off, so it comes around.

I do delight in all the cartel-backing media who thought they had one over on us, now having to slag off the bloke whose dick they were all sucking a few days ago, when they thought he had 'snubbed' us.

Is Delph competing for Fernando's spot or Fernandinho's spot? Anyone out there have a qualified guess?

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I hope he passes the medical....this time. It's a strange one. When Delph announced he was staying he simply said he wanted to end media speculation. He did nt explain his reasons though. There was no talk of loyalty to Villa or deciding he needed game time etc. Something was afoot.

Both.

Statistically he bested Ferna last season.... and Fernando... well he never really got out of the blocks. It's good for both to have competition though.

Wilshere might be a massive knob, but a peado? I wouldn't go that far.

Theirs and Nasri's i'd suggest.

He's a versatile fucker. Bald. Skinny Jeans. Checks a lot of boxes for me.

Didnt he say something about loyalty and Villa being his club?

It's quite possible one of these may move on now. Personally, I think Fern 1 has been a great signing but Fernando showed little last season. However, given Fern 1's age and Yaya's it will probably be Fernando who is retained if MP still believes in him.

He said that in Jan... the last statement post the U-turn just outlined him looking forward to the season, being captain...

It was Sherwood who "hailed Delph's loyalty".
