I hope only that we signed our main targets.

What I want to highlight is that is a chance we might see Willy in goal on saturday and not Joe.

Willy Bony? Most probably by the way Pep thinks.

Sir Big Willy, not I cannot find the goal Willy.

And to be fair, who would blame him? Joe needs to be ready mentally for the next month or so. All eyes will be on him.

Joes confidence is shot and when everybody else can see it, there's problems.

I love how our fullbacks tuck into act as midfielders, our youth team have been doing this for a couple of years they looked far more comfortable than our senior players.

We had a couple of bits of play that were fantastic, it will come it eill take time though and it might not b rosy for a while bit when it clicks we are going to walk this league.

On a side note hart is struggling big time in this system hes like a big square peg in a round hole, three times kicked it long n lost possesion even when he played it short he didnt look comfortable and didnt give the right angle to receive it back. Its going to be bleak for him i wouldnt b surprised to see willy start saturday.

I thought Garcia looked very tidy and, if it were up to me (which, thank heavens, it's not) I'd keep him in the side, with Fernandhino at centre back alongside Tosin (in spite of his bad pass which gifted Arsenal their third goal). I'd keep Sagna at right back and play Angelino on the left.

I thought we looked a lot better when we made the changes and some of the youngsters came on, giving us more energy and a lot better ball control.

Oh well. Better to lose a pre-season friendly than to lose a CB. Unless he is Kolarov of course.

I think Joe's days are numbered. Rulli may well come in. Given a free hand Pep would probably go for Ter Stegen but the fee would be exorbitant.

OK,

so the real question is this: Who is going to buy Joe? And at what price?

For me Pep is getting everything needed to judge the squad. No panic from us as fans, plenty of players playing fo a future at the new CIty. To,play the Pep way we need more than we have, so Txiki will be busy IMHO, could get a little bumpy.

Pep asked about Bony and Mangala says they are City players 'at this moment'.

paying the price for a pile of shit windows since the spafia arrived. for every decent signing there have been 3 shit ones. i'd love to see their links to the agent networks that have brokered the deals. you can guarantee that pep's brother will have picked up some dollar for the jesus, nolito and moreno transfers....

As some of us have been saying since the first rumours about Ter Stegen arose in the spring and it became more clear to City fans about how much a sweeper keeper is to the way Pep wants to play.

I cannot see how he can remain unless he becomes a different player. I feel badly for him as he has been such a loyal player, but it's just one of those things.

Sentimental feelings are not going to help us win trophies. This is professional sport.

Plenty of clubs would love to have him. Everton? I heard they were interested in Schmeichel.

Blues smell problems, it's the years of watching B.S. Pep has to be given the green light to splas the cash, even if we have to pay the dough a Bonnuci looks to be a solution we cannot do without, ok stones is mad money we saw tonight what a mess we are at the back, both keepers are not of the calibre Pep is used to the problems start there.

I read that Juve offered us Bonucci, we offered double his wages, and he turned it down, so seems unlikely he's coming.

Zaba has confirmed he's been asked to stay for another year and is delighted to do so. There'll be a changing of the guard in the full back positions over the next year or so and hopefully our two young Spanish players will be part of it. If they have to wait till next season to become part of the first team squad it wont be the end of the world. If either or both do go out on loan the challenge will be to get them serious game time in a competitive league. Of the two Angelino has more chance this season because Kolarov may be sold and even if not could be displaced on merit.

It's only a friendly. Can't ever see kola at CB in a real game.
One thing though is the playing out from the back, we didn't look great at it, all other teams are going to push up hard on us. We will have to mix it more.
