Simple, it does not work with us, with our defenders it is impossible to do that. Also, he looks to have a complex against Borussia away from home, only one win.
Anyway, job done, but I am not pleased.
FFS. We've got the manager we were all wanking over for the last 3 seasons. We're through with a game to spare and yet so many of you are full of doom and gloom. Pep said during the 10 game unbeaten run that this team was far away from winning the Prem never mind the Chumps league and he was right. It will take him at least 2 more transfer windows to get the squad he wants. Pellers took this lot to the semis and then we bottled it - at least give Pep the chance to get us that far. For all you moaning lot, who else would you have in charge? Have faith in Pep - we've waited this long to get him and nobody was moaning when we were linked with him and most of you were creaming your pants at the thought of him taking over 6 months ago - to put it into context look at how Bayern are fareing under Ancelotti (with a better squad than we have) - a lot worse than when Pep managed them, and even Barca are not doing as well as they should in La Liga. Football fans are so fickle. Enjoy the ride. Judge Pep when he has the squad he wants. This one is not fit for his purpose....yet

Where did I say he is not the manager we all wanted and all of that?
I am just pointing out that he had some tactical flops lately and tonight was one of those. Look, he is the best manager in the world, but he is doing some things only someone without any experience would do. Play it safe, you cannot transform Kolarov or Otamendi into Beckenbauer. Play it safe, four on the back until you get who you want at the club, then you can play five up front if that gets us results.
We had what, one clean sheet in the last 13 games? Numbers like that would make Bobby Manc lose his hair. I will stand by our manager no matter what, but he needs to solve some issues that are hot right now.
Job was done, as I said, but please, no more of that shit on the back.

Said it earlier, but where has the City rep' gone? Hargreaves is not there to talk up any English team as his only real connection is the Rags, and where are they. Then we've got CamelGob, Slippy G and some other cunt who has no infinity with us whatsoever.
I think it's that time to cancel again.

A-finity

Piss poor really didn't play with any real purpose and not sure why as it would have been a feather in the cap to top the group ahead of Barcelona.
That said we are through from a tasty enough group with a game left to play, we'd all have settled for that happily enough when the draw was made.

No, he does things that other managers don't have the balls to do, and always has done - something which I will always applaud him for. The same people moaning are the same lot moaning about Pellegrini's tactical rigidity. And if Mancini was that good he'd still be here - do me a fucking favour. Pep is still getting used to the squad he has and as a dynamic manager will experiment with the tools at his disposal until he fully gets to grips with the talent (or lack of) at his disposal. It seems as though many of you thought he would take miraculously turn this squad into world beaters overnight. If this is the case then you're deluded and don't have a clue. There were always going to be ups and downs at the beginning. Accept it and let him do his thing. Some of the knee jerk reactions here are incredulous. Do you realise how ridiculous you sound when you say he is tactically flopping and then in the next breath say he is the best manager in the world? 1 clean sheet in 13 may well make Mancini lose his hair - more to the point, Mancini lost his job here and has hardly been a success since. Pellegrini is now managing a Chinese side. I rest my case. I suppose we could always have got Ancelotti. A distant 2nd in their Chumps league group and 2nd in the Bundesliga

Yes, he did, but after he started again with that 3-1-3-3. This is what I mean when I say he is stubborn, he keeps using that formation when it is clear that does not work and he has to change on the way when usually something bad happens, or when we are one goal down.

I'm not overly keen on the 3 at the back but I think a bigger problem last night was Sterling on the left again, it blunts us, he is completely predictable on that side and Navas is nowhere near as effective as him in terms of making things happen on the other side. We saw last night as soon as Sterling went right we start finding space and creating chances and got the equaliser as a result.

Agree with this, nolito instead of navas and I think we'd have been much better.
