Nah. He was poor and has been for a couple of games.
Doesn’t help putting him on the left.

Sterling is his own biggest critic.

He already knows he fucked up.

He’s single handledly won us plenty of games this season so let’s continue to support him.

Diaz offered fuck all. In hindsight raheem shouldn't have come off. Peps emotions got the better of him there.

Don’t think it helps he had Kompany next to him and no one trusts Komps anymore.

The match thread is the match thread mase....he has been utter shit in front of goal the last 2 games... missing unfuckingbelievable chances.

Todays missed chances is exactly what PeP has been on about from ages now....disgusting today was...not acceptable.

But its over now...end of.

Sterling on the left was always Pellegrini’s biggest fuckup.

Keep him on the right where he’s at his best.

With Bernardo coming in, put him on the left.

the sad reality is that sterling can work on his finishing from now until eternity but he will never be any good at it.

I'm sorry to say, and it breaks my heart to do it, but our football has outgrown kompany. Too slow on the ball, at times a liability with his decision making. There were at least 3 Burnley attempts that came directly from Vinny's errors.

I'd honestly put him as our Yaya midfielder now. Ceremonial almost, gets games here and there because he's part of the club, there for when injuries get picked up. Otamendi, Stones and now Laporte, they're different gravy.

I'm swiftly coming to that conclusion with my absolute hero Kun also.

Anyway. We were our own worst enemy today. Our mistakes lead to their spells of pressure, our mistakes meant we didn't put the game to bed. Yet we still came away without defeat. I don't think sterling should have come off, shocking miss but that gave him fire in his belly and we know he kicks on from those. Walker needs a slap for sleeping on that cross for their goal, I'd also like to know why he doesn't help Silva out with the overlap. So many opportunities for him to use his pace to burn in behind and Bernie to drop one through.

Our defence is fuckign shit with Kompany in..no one trusts him.

Agreed.
Was saying it all game.
Love him for what he has done for us, but this passing under pressure st the back doesn’t suit him.
I don’t think he will ever be comfortable with it and he does make strange decisions getting caught in two minds, as a result.

Mind you if we were two or three nil up like we should have been, things would probably be a lot calmer back there.

Burnley cut out all the channels very well.
All of the backs started giving erratic wasteful passes. Walker’s passing is terrible in my opinion even at the best of times.

2 points dropped.
Come back stronger next week.

Well, that fizzled out. Still, can't complain too much. The balance of the team doesn't seem right, understandably with the injuries, and we looked jaded. Usually there's a point when we kick on in the second half but that didn't come today.

Minimum 13 points clear at this stage of the season, I'd have bitten your hand off if somebody offered me that.

agreed. i thinj walker (among others) hates playing with kompany. kompanys decision making is fucking awful. continually passing backwards under zero pressure. when he carries it out he has no fucking clue where to go with it.
