Yes..and hes doing it in a shit AV team....put sterling in the Villa team and he would be PAP SHIT bad.

His stats for Villa are brilliant...excellent player and Id have him in a heart beat.

He rarely loses the ball too which would suit our game plus Pep would work his magic. He would only get better if he came to us.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Do we need another ball player? Don't see where we play him

Grealish is a very good player for Villa.
And his game would no doubt improve under Pep and playing/training with a top notch squad and facilities.

But a replacement for Sterling he is not. That isn't to say he wouldn't be a decent addition to our squad in the summer.

A fast player isn't necessarily a good player. See Theo Walcott for evidence of this

Raheem is always going to be fast, it means nothing to pep, Iniesta and Xavi were ok paced. I like Raheem I have no real axe to grind until you see Foden on that side last night and it’s amazing touch pass move, Grealish is class IMO.

Actually Grealish is a player that would replace Mr. Whippy, imho.
He will be 31 in october, naturally, after this season he will start to regress.

Alas retribution is denied this season - we could throw our league games against Everton, the Chavs & Villa to get them into the Thursday cup again - anyway no double for the scum now - come on the Toblerones!

He can play on the left, he can play Central, he can beat a man, he can score, he provides assists and very rarely loses the ball. Sounds a great replacement for Sterling.

Do you think Sterling would be as influential as Grealish is if he was playing for Villa?

He'd be their Georgie Best.

Just what we need, another mediocre English team's wonderkid.

Who would rapidly go the way of Jack Rodwell, Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair.

Better than going the way of Adam Johnson I suppose.

A lot of talk about grealish as if we could just rock up and take him.....the price starts at £100m and all we would get is a guy that gets lots of fouls....that’s sky stats for ya...ha ha ha ha ha...for me he has shown nothing but contempt against any other team he has ever faced....a tribal instinct if ever there was one for a pro footballer.....he is villa through and through in the same way foden is city....when grealish leaves villa it will only be for money......and he will then become another mercenary statistic.......he will go to Utd for the “stature”..(don’t make me laugh..)......now....could we get him knowing all he’s ever gonna give us is his professional approach to us....yeah...why not....but that would be 2/3 years at best.....he certainly isn’t a Bernie.......a so called foreigner who understood what was going on and gave the murdering wankers the respect they deserved in their “guard of honour”.....we need players that go beyond their tribal instinct and say “fuck em”

You talk some shite.!!
His game is way up there and hes playing in a shit team...he would be a huge improvement on Sterling.

Has anyone seen much of Grealish when he's not acting as the team's catalyst? The role he plays at Villa is the role DeBruyne plays for us, can't see him ousting KDB, could he play with him?

Exactly, for me also. Kevin or Gundo.
No way Sterling.

I think that actually is why we are after him, if it's true.

He has one less assist in the Prem than Kev this season, but one more goal. I agree, he’s more of a KDB than a Sterling. Or even a Gundo like PP says. But he’d be literally our main signing - near £100m! We’re covered for his position, I’d rather spend the money elsewhere.
