We need think 12 months ahead. If Sterling has another shit year and plays half the games he will be worth half. Sell him now? Unless Bernie is off which it does look like

What about the norwich and southampton kids? And the forest and brentford kids from last year when villa took their best players all within the last 12 months!

Doesn’t fit the narrative

It’s City who are ruining football. Let’s never forget that :) :)

God its so boring now, think they would change the fucking record..

You would swear that,

The dippers never spent a penny in the 80s,
Blackburn spent nothing in the 90s, it happened by accident.
Leeds duo David O Leary and Peter Risdale didn't spend all that cash, that was a dream you had.
Kevin Keegan signed nobody at his time in Newcastle.
The old Alco didn't break the transfer record on several occasions.
Maureen built a team at Chelsea all from academy players.
Wenger never bought a player.
Aresnal didn't spend £73 minion on a player no one ever even heard of.
The Rags didn't spend over a billion since last winning a title.

It goes on and on, not to mention what Barca, Real, PSG, Juve and Bayern have done.

Read somewhere last night that over the next 5 seasons with his wages Sancho will work out costing the rags more than Grealish will cost us over the same period.
Strangely sky didn't get the time to mention that.

The hypocrisy of it all.

I do and I will tell you why .

If Sterling starts a game with some fekking wig that needs to stay in place and means he spends more time as a highly paid professional sorting
out that gastly door mat on his bonce ,rather than concentrating on the game at hand .... Then whisk him off for a fivepenny all off. Up the back of your head
and a bit of brylcreem on your bonnet. Sorted for weeks. Don't even need to wash the back of yer 'ed.

I remember seeing Grealish vs us at home in 2014 under Pellers and we absolutely battered Villa (4-0) and my mate who's a Villa fan had been bigging Grealish up a lot leading up to the game saying he was a HOT prospect. I thought fuck all of it, but do recall him actually being one of their standout players that day, despite Villa seeing fuck all of the ball. To be honest, i thought he looked a bit of a gimp in his low socks, trendy haircut and lack of shinpads vs the likes of Yaya et al, but he was confident and great on the ball.

Fast forward to now and it's pretty fucking bonkers how far he's come. I genuinely couldn't be happier for him and the club and I'm excited to see him progress in blue. We are so insanely spoiled by the quality we see every week and have been for years, but it just resonates with me a bit more when we have successful English lads playing in our team.

I think this guy could be a turning point in our PR.

The best calves in football seems to be a bit of a hit with the ladies. The odd modelling gig here and there and his impact could be similar to that guy from the rags that was a bit pretty.

That was his Villa debut and he come on for the last 10 minutes or so in time to try and fail to stop Yaya scoring the wonder 4th.

Oddly homoerotic post. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Do we know the actual figures we paid for Grealish?

More specifically his wages?

The only thing I've seen reported in the press is the total he 'could' end up earning (then divided by the years and weeks) saying he was on £380k.

That would mean we would need to win the lot to trigger all his bonuses so we'd all be happy as pigs in shit.

His actual basic will be a lot less than that as we all know we dropped basic wages and made them more incentive based contracts but the scum press don't report the truth around our squads figures etc
