We won, we did not concede, job half done.
Next leg will be tough but they have to score.
We need to be really disciplined and make sure we do not react to their anti-football tactics.
Horrible set of bastards.
How Simone get praised for turning out a team like that is beyond me.

Anyone know what Ederson was supposed to have done at the end? City had already got a free kick further up the pitch so the play was dead.

I feel more relaxed about this season after that game, we will take nothing for granted knowing how the various leagues will treat us.

We are up against it, be prepared.

After Kev's comments I get why we weren't trying to get behind. Didn't want to commit too many in the box and get caught, letting them break.

Professional job, not a good watch, but they got nothing and we know we can control them.

Well get two at theirs at least playing the same way.

He was the the best player on the pitch tonight - unbelievable comments. Probably read he didn't pick Merlin in his All Time Best Spanish XI this week.

You genuinely think Rodri was the best player on the pitch?

My biggest concern is that UEFA would prefer Atletico over City.

Ake was very good tonight. He was targeted and was faultless. He has a good leap on him. Felix and Griezmann taken off which tells you how our defence coped with them. Not a sniff.

Ake a contender for MOTM. Did his job well without any fuss. Both him and Cancelo did well.
