The equation is well documented and fairly straightforward - win the next four games and we win the PL title again. In fact due to the dippers drawing yesterday we can actually afford to win 3 and draw 1.

But starting today, I foresee the boys proving a point big time. Very rarely over the last 5 years have we lost big games back to back and more often than not we see a reaction when we do lose. Obviously the first priority is to actually win the game but the manner in which we do will set the scene for the run in. Win big and it sends a message down the East Lancs road that whatever you do we will beat it. Klopp might then just focus on the two cup finals and rotate in the PL to keep players fresh

5-0
Grealish if he starts to score first, if not then Foden

And so it comes to pass. We were on it from the off and controlled the game very well. No hangover from Wednesday at all. The fans were great today as well, certainly came through loud on the TV

It’s looking good for the title

Especially Kevin after an indifferent match. Usual excellence today. Worry about Ruben although in this match Fernandinho was very comfortable. We played a high line and once or twice they were through because of a small mistake. One excellent save by Ederson and an excellent defensive header by Laporte. All in all very satisfying. On to Molineux. If we win that I strongly fancy us to get 4 points out of six in the last two.

We're two up on goals scored.

Badly needed.
Murderers drop points.
Rags lose, heavily.
Leeds on the verge of relegation.

A good weekend all round.

Decent win, opens a nice gap but after the disappointment mid week, there are no chickens being counted and I'm not even looking for a fat lady with a song sheet. Well done though to the players, Pep and his team and the blues in the stadium

The revisionism of Carragher. Talking shite about how nobody expected Liverpool to be in with a shout.

Now he’s snapping, saying we’re not a big club as we have to win the CL. I agree, we need to win the CL at some point but not to be classed as a big club, his teddy has been truly thrown in the corner.

Oh, and although they may still win it, not a mention of the quadruple. How things change.

Good call, NB. We have a mentality to push on.

Didn’t Foden score first when he came on, with Grealish brilliance?

I quite enjoyed when he snapped, although he didn’t quite show it, his salty tears were a taste to behold.
