And we bought Gvardiol. I don’t think that’s a problem. The defence is bad because our midfield is cut through all the time.

Question. How many PL teams are as bad as us off the ball? Not many.

We’ve gone from a squad that would run through brick walls for the club, to a set of absolute pricks that don’t give a fuck.

This isn't far from the truth, IMHO. Things got iffy and they crumbled like a wet house of cards. The club utterly failed to invest properly last summer. Maybe they tried? Ended up with Savio, who is almost comically atrocious and a finished Gundogan.

I wanted the rebuild a year ago, but no, we sat on our hands. I thought it looked dodgy even when we won a few games at the start of the season. Rodri got injured, and that was likely top 4 up for serious concern. But, it is looking way worse...top 4, not with this shit show.

Savinho. Woeful.
Foden. Anonymous, awful.
Gundo. Time has passed unfortunately.

Fuck all width tonight except for Savinho who was doubled up on but shit nonetheless. Gvardiol often in acres of space on the left but he's not a fucking winger.

Midfield is dead. Some major major signings needed.

Gvardiol is not a left back.

I watched the Croatia game midweek. He was ripped apart many times . Fortunately he scored a goal. Doesn't make up for the shit defending.

For the first goal that tackle had row Z on the ball, nothing else. He screwed up and was to slow to stop the cross. He put their second goal on a plate for them.
He had a shocker today, even shooting was abysmal..... These are professionals not sunday morning lads.

We need relegation from the 115 panel to stand any chance of winning with this team . The 4th goal just about sums this shit show tonight. SPUDS fully deserve the win, completely fucked us over without trying and fuck me didn't we .ake it easy for them , both tactically and performance. Our heads not in the game at all. Has pep one eye on champs league? Who knows. We aren't creating, our accuracy is shite, our defence naive and looks undrilled, and to be honest half our team look unfit. I'm surprised the crowd weren't booing that effort, probably not enough left to make themselves heard.
At the start of the week if Pep had said he was leaving I'd have thanked him sent him on his way. Now I'm fairly annoyed because I don't think he can do it with this squad and the way he's setting them up

Savio tried today , even tackled back to help Gvardiol.

He was ok , at least he tried. Foden and Rico were awful.

Mind, i don't get this ref today ( no excuse ) but he stopped us playing when advantage was ok. He thinks it's ok for players to be shoved but pulls up Savio for nothing . Wierd

Gvardiol had a poor game but he’s a very good player. It wasn’t a mistake to buy him. The heart of the problem is our midfield. Shocking off the ball. Week after week.

Nah we won't allow it next week, eleven players in the box . Do what Arsenal did to us , on them.

Anyway they could lose to their feeder team tomorrow.

The only player who was half way decent was Ederson. Not perfect but he made a couple of good saves.

Foden and Rico are nice to haves. When Tin tin plays , it works for them.

Midfielders must want the ball, i don't see those two go looking for it. Gundo does.
