We know which are the Pep signings and which aren’t. He didn’t want Haaland. He didn’t want Grealish. He openly said he loved Nunes. He got Phillips recommended by his hero at Leeds.

Let’s not be silly.

Who said he didn't want Haaland and Grealish and who's said the bad signings have been Txixi- no way they don't collaborate on it.
Ederson, Walker, Gvardiol Dias, Silva, Gundo ( 1st time)Rodri, Mahrez, His signings on the whole have been fantastic

If you believe he wanted Haaland then you’re a nutcase! We’re seeing now he never wanted Grealish - proof is there to see.

As the post above says- of course he wanted Haaland and it's not me that's the nutcase .Do you really think he's some sort of puppet singing to his masters tune.
He wanted Grealish as well, he played him repeatedly in the treble season. There's the proof. Have they had a falling out- absolutely

What about the seasons before the treble season? What about now? He played him that season because Jack was class.

Haaland was not a Pep signing. I genuinely think you’re mad to think he was. Pep’s had plenty of opportunities to big up Haaland, when asked by the media, and he uses as an opportunity to mention Messi. Literally.

And rather stopped playing Jack when he stopped being class- which he did. Now as I said they've fallen out.
I've heard him big Haaland up loads of times, the only Messi mention was when Messi won the Ballon D'or ahead of him and he was loathe to criticise Messi. So what

Kevin and Fernandhino were signed by the manager who you never rated - Pellegrini
David silva - Roberto Mancini

3 players off the top of my head who were majorly responsible for most of our trophy wins

I’m not saying pep never had some good signings as he obviously did , but let’s not live in Fantasy land thinking we won everything due to his signings - he’s made some good ones and he’s made some absolute shocking buys.

Ps “ the only messi mention “ ?????? Now you are deluded ffs , pep has mentioned him so many times that I’ve lost count.

Mancini made some great signings, Kev was definitely a Pep one as was Sterling apparently as he knew a year before he was coming here
I said the only Messi mention in relation to Haaland btw

I just love Doku. Frustrating at times, but we need players who will take a risk and run at people.
The sideways/backwards passing kills me.
I reckon Doku has alot more assists with a bit of luck, he often puts it in a dangerous area.

That's probably 1 assist in about 300 dribbles, Mark, no need to get too excited yet!

He's got a shit load of crosses into the box.
As Zuri said earlier, "The ball across the goal ,well is what we expect from wingers, it is not their fault when no one is there."

If you don't think Pep was involved with Kev and Sterling when they knew for a year he was coming then that shows which one of us is the nutcase

:D :D just gets funnier and funnier hearing from people who know exactly what Pep did , who Pep wanted and didn't want ,who he's fallen out with . All based on what facts exactly? The fact that "you" think something doesn't make it fact no matter how often you repeat it or persuade someone else to agree with you.

Just on the KDB one I know for a fact ( :D :D ) that he was recommended to City, while he was at Bayern, as a must buy for City.

And on the " we played poorly in some of those games" suggests somebody just doesn't recognise that we HAD TO play differently than in the past to help manage the game , stop the opposition playing and still win the game without scoring 5 and blowing teams away. We aren't that team at the moment but it just seems that when we aren't free flowing attacking its poor.

Loved how we had to play differently against Arsenal, Madrid, or Paris away this season.

Wasn't particularly funny the 1st time, definitely not the 10th.
By the way this is the manager you say didn't want Haaland or Grealish, the same manager who is arrogant, believes it's his way or no way and won't change for anyone or anything but you honestly believe he'd play players he didn't want.

It was widely reported at the time that the Spafia were recruiting during Pellegrini's time with a view to Pep coming in.

That's not saying that it was Pep giving them his shopping list of players like Sterling or KDB before he arrived, but obviously part of the detailed succession planning the people that run the club were doing at the time.
