For me today, Rice , Anderson and Kane were outstanding.
In midfield England are carrying Bellingham.

I actually felt that Bellingham and Rice being there in midfield suppressed Anderson.

Bellingham offers nothing but expects the ball to be delivered to him on a plate.

The right back , poor fella , will he recover from the shambolic performance ?

Nico did his bit.

The BBC commentators were awful and Shearer should shut up.

How many times do we have to say - the game goes on for 90 minutes ? stop "What if" ing.

It was interesting that they interviewed Anderson after the match.
Someone said on here he reminds him of the young Tin tin, well he impressed today , i thought.

Yet all the commentators and pundits are united in wanking over Bellingham.
Pretty sickening TBH.

Most on here have said it before, Bellingham is massively overrated and over hyped. He's a billy big bollicks who does, on occasions, deliver. Nowhere near consistent enough for England and did largely fuck all last night. Seems he's also untouchable as a starter though so he's not going away until we lose to Mexico

Looks like the England games now going to be Sunday 19:00 due to thunderstorms around the original KO.

That's just saved me a half day holiday if Fifa give the nod.

Tougher on the players though

The cynic in me wonders whether the sponsors and broadcasters have had a big say in this decision. And the thunderstorm reason is simply an excuse

Of course they have, big game, wee hours of the morning for europeans (;and yes , a lot will want to watch England play against Mexico ). Move it back six hours, more advertising money

The clown show commentary team giving FIFA credit for pumping money into Cape Verde, there are 15 players in this Cape Verde squad who weren't born in Cape Verde but in France, Portugal and the USA, this team is like the Irish team picked by Jack Charlton.

Yes they did well but they didn't put their boots on and practice in-between working on the plantation.

FIFA don't make any money for the TV slot advertising though so not really in their interests to move it. Also the biggest advertising market for this is in north America so again no real gain even for the commercial broadcasters.

Although FIFA is a corrupt disgrace of an organisation I actually believe the focus was on health and safety for considering the change. Although wouldn't be trusting weather reports 2/3 days out anyway. I imagine if anything the game will get delayed if the storms do materialise.

France got the job done against some quality shit-heelery from Paraguay. Just seems like an inevitable march towards the final for them.

I don't know they struggled to break Paraguay down, I know Paraguay used 1960's type tactics but still they did well up until France nicked one. The Norway result for France was down to Norway mostly resting the entire squad maybe so they could get an easier draw in the next round.

Last 16 a few arses are going to get smacked that's for sure.

On a side not I was very impressed with the attitude of Mbappe in the match he wound the Paraguayans up without himself resorting to cheating which I thought was unusual.

Fifa recinds Folarin Baloguns Red card plays for the US team. Sounds like a real cockney wide boy too.

....which there is no mechanism to do.

Years ago, when Platini was on our backs, I used to think Infantino was the voice of reason

Last few years, he's proved to be a complete and utter cock

There is. So Ronaldo could play in the first two games of this World Cup.
