FFS i wish our club would stop being pussies when it comes to these media outlets. I can't even enjoy reading about this damn team.

It's pathetic. And makes absolutely no sense either.

We have some of the most sought after players in world football and the most sought after manager in world football.

You're fucking dead right we're not united. That's why they lose out to us whenever the two clubs go for the same player.

That's Merson's biggest problem - pure ignorance. He probably can't read, so doesn't read up on the latest news. So it all goes to pot when he shouts off about something he knows nothing about.

Stick to what you know/watch Paul - it won't be much, but it wont make you look so silly!

Beeb quietly reporting that Ibra is 'quiet on United future' but state that he has already won one trophy with them (yes, the pre-season friendly trophy) and may win 2 more 'even' if they don't win the premier league!
Very different story from Sergio (which was based on fuck all other than that he was a sub for 2 games). Bye bye Ibra, sorry you wasted a year finding out that you'd joined a joke 'big club'.

I note that the Beeb have been very quiet on us lately. Until yesterday's match preview they hadn't reported anything for 5 days.

Good to see that if they haven't got anything nice to report, report nothing at all.

Spoke to soon; a non-story in the way they've reported it. No sensationalism for a change.

The timing of this 'story' is quite typical though; on the eve of a very important game for us which, if we were to win it, might prove to be a seminal moment in this season.

Mind you, some people will see that headline and won't read the article, thus allowing their minds to be made up for them, as is 'per usual'.

A pro City media would report that we now have the best attacking line up in the PL. And that Jesus and Kun together with Sane and Sterling and KDB and Silva will terrorise defences for many years to come.

They may even mention when we get a bit if steel back in our defence that we will be like a runaway freight train that can't be stopped.

Even the MEN won't report positive things so we have zero chance with the mainstream media

This ties in with the Jesus fanfair thread. You'd have thought there'd have been a big thing made but they chose to develop a negative story of one of our greats being pushed out. It's now stirred people up so much that even Blues are saying goodbye to Sergio, besmirching his status with us somehow believing it makes things better.

The one thing I haven't read on, apart from where the club, Pep and Sergio himself say he's staying, is why Pep and the club would put themselves in a position where together they'd lose the club a shitload of money by forcing him out the door?

One thing for sure, if that did happen then it would say to me that Pep isn't all that as he cannot utilise one of the world's best, or even fit him into a team that is filled with extremely talented players. And I don't think that of Pep, just like I don't believe the bullshit that's being spouted by those have written negative shit about us ever since I can remember. Now, for some unknown reason, Blues begin to believe them.

Very interesting times.

Worth repeating - least we forget:

Look at the hype last year with Rashford.
Jesus has an Olympic gold, Brazilian title(PL), leads the line for Brazil and been awesome from the word go in the PL.

Just imagine the hype if he played for any of the Sky top 4 and if he played for the Rags - OMG.
