The guy clearly doesnt want to sign for us, which is fine - move on to the next one.

As for Sanchez filling the Bellamy void - I didnt realise he would be a pain in arse in the dressing room too?

i'd hate that. he's a shitfaced cockmaster who riles up his teammates, and attacks them, undeservedly so apparently, with sports equipment and fights with bar patrons unprovokedly, and he is NOT a dedicated, balls to the wall, hard-working, never say die family man who just happens to play football for a living to ply his trade, a trade in which he actually respects the fans and the clubs he works for unlike 90+% of all footballers these days. Don't you read the newspapers?

cheers

also, pace. just sayin. oh, and finishing, and yeah right a cross or two. plus tracking back, there's that, tracking back too. did i mention pace?

anyway...roll on signing some half-speed turd from Europe and continuing to fucl off Craig Bellamy.

cheers again

Spiced Ham.

Indeed, if we gazump Barca, and Sanchez is forced to come here, then we have another Robinho on our hands. Someone who doesnt really want to be here because his first choice move fucked up.

He will constantly be linked to Barca.

Offer £30 million, like it or leave it.

As we are generally accepted to be the highest bidder, if he had any concrete interest in being here we would have had some indication and movement in this area by now after a month of more of pursuit, dont you think? He wants to go to Barca, and quite frankly if they were on offer who would blame him.

Oh of course we would want Bellamy when we struggled so badly last year somehow scraping third spot and an FA Cup trophy whilst managing without his constant whinging, persistent injuries and all the baggage he brings eh? After all, despite his 26 different clubs in his career, Craig's got a cabinet full of medals hasn't he.

Yep. Jo was a fantastic substitute for him. I'm sure we would have plummeted down the league if the Welshman had been available, what with his habits of asking for transfers at Christmas, getting sent off in crucial games, chucking darts at youth team players etc. A real liability. Let's hope we manage to coax Jo into staying for another season & get rid of that unprofessional little twat.

Reports from Spain suggest Barcelona’s bid for Alexis Sanchez has hit problems, letting Manchester City back in the race for the Udinese star.
Barça had been expected to complete the signing of Chile international Sanchez this week for €39m, including performance-related bonuses, plus Jeffren.
However, radio station Ona FM claim negotiations hit a big stumbling block late this afternoon.
It seems that forward Jeffren has refused the move to Udinese in part-exchange for El Nino Maravilla.
Unless the two clubs can decide on another player to be included in the deal, this could let Manchester City back into the race for Sanchez.
Sky Sport Italia suggest Udinese want the Chilean to accept City’s offer of €40m plus €5m in bonuses

Wooooooooh, stumbling blocks, snags, it's just all to much to take in.

Why have Barca said they've only got 40 mil euro's and have stated they rate Fabregas as 35 of them? Does that mean they've only offered the other 5 plus players for Sanchez?

I wonder if they'll have to spend some of the Fabregas money on securing Sanchez? Judging by the way they sulked even when Hughes' team beat them in that crappy friendly & other similar past incidents, they seem to see their arses big style at losing anything to anyone. I wonder if they'll feel the need to save face & break the bank to ward us off ? If they do, we should slap another bid in & fuck them up even further. What fun!

I bet they're mithering Sanchez to fuck in order to get him to refuse to sign for us, so they don't have to pay up.

P.S. Now would be the time to slap a 30 mil bid in for Fabregas.

It hasn't failed. It's still there & by the look of it, it's the highest bid they'll get unless Barca break their piggy bank..

If you're trying to sell your house or car and there are two people wanting it, both upping the offer, would you just take an offer or wait and see how high you could push them both? This isn't going to be resolved until one of us walks away at the point where we decide he's become too expensive. If he's as good as some seem to think, and I've never seen him, then the initial c£20m offers were ridiculous, hence why it's taken so long to get to the £30+ he's actually worth.

From our point of view, Barca have become the bloke at the casino who's just put his watch and car keys on the turn of the next hand and is wondering whether to chuck in a night with his wife, whilst the billionaire just keeping throwing chips down from his massive pile without even checking what hand he's got.

Maybe they've got a full house and will win eventually, but it'll be a Pyrrhic victory, as it's cost them a lot more than they wanted it to and removes them from the transfer market. That means the likes of Rossi, Aguero, Pastore, Nasri and anyone else you want to name can't be picked up by Barca. At least not unless they off load several pounds worth of players. That might give us a freer run on the above or the chance to pick up someone from the Barca team. For that reason, it's worth staying at the table and making it uncomfortable for them. Remember as well that if Barca drop out, the likes of Inter, Chelsea and the rags might still be lurking, so if we're definitely not going to get him, make sure they pay well over the odds.

One difference as well this year - neither the player or his agent has said that they're not interested in coming, usually before having to back track once we sign them. A cup and CL footy is allowing us to push Barca to places they don't want to be. A bit different than being the only team chasing Corradi.

There's a reason Bellamy has had so many clubs. There's also a reason why he has gone honourless in his career.

It's mind-blowingly obvious that Bellers (and Ade for that matter) because Mancini considered he was a bad apple as far as team spirit is concerned, a bad influence on what he is trying to build here.

Now Bellers won us all over for sure, but now so, I believe has Mancini. You can see things are moving in the right direction.

So why on earth would anyone doubt his judgement, after all his career experience, and even suggest bringing back Bellers?

Lunacy. Move on.

As for Sanchez, never really seen him, just read a bit (like most people) so I'll reserve judgement.
