i feel the same way...that was a lot of work to do what i felt was the minimum expected. Leaking two goals wasn't pretty. our backline looked challenged.

On a positive for Bolton how good would they look with the couple long-term injured players like the Korean winger they're missing in their side?

Related: Do you like to see a manager in training kit on the touchline? i prefer a suit...Coyle looks like a tit in his top and shorts and socks, doesn't he? Good manager, bad stylist.

cheers

And Barry imo, superb.

Bolton were so lucky to get anywhere near us in that game. Watch Klasnic & Davies get in those same positions v the rags 10 times each & fuck up every single one. Flukey bastards.

Fantastic football from City, deserved a bigger win.

Hes a good defender but not good enough to be a starter imo....clearly at fault for their 2nd and was suspect for their 1st.

Silva is a truly superb player with touch and vision but also great work ethic to make the complete player. But today was far from his best despite what Uncle Fester said. He actually lost the ball twice in the middle of the park and his passing wasn't as good as usual. Good game but far from MotM for me.

Gaz Baz is quality. At his best nearly invisible, but today with the added firecracker of a goal as well. Great effort from him. Always in the right place. His positioning and ball winning seem effortless.

Yay!

Three away points. Concerns over shaky defending, but great to see our attitude for the majority of the game. As Doom said, Tevez looked rusty (his own bloody fault, to be fair), and we definitely became less expansive with his arrival. Tiredness played a part, no doubt, but there does seem to be a correlation when Tevez plays between his presence and City playing deeper and with an all round more cautious approach.

Delighted with the points and performance (apart from the shaky defensive bits).

His passing was poor today by his standards. I like the way Yaya inparticular works with Silva though, when the little man gets the ball near a touchline Yaya moves towards him dragging his midfield marker out of position and giving Silva room to work his magic.

Aye, for the first 60 mins he was class, then perhaps because he set such high standards I missed him in the last 20. Dave, Edin and Milner were fab

Silva was still one of the best 3 players on the park today ... just shows that him playing like that is viewed as poor, which by the standard he's shown to date, it is, bonkers stuff really! Dzeko, Milner and Richards all had great games, in fact knowbody had a poor one today.
