Exactly, and we still have 3 halves to play. Only down 1-0, not that bad. Lucky not to have conceded more with that performance since our midfield was completely absent and nothing could stick up top. But you can bet your house we'll play better in the 2nd half

This. I don't care if we have 3 of our best players out, that was absolutely shite.

Let's take it on the chin.

By the way well done bobby, mario was in one of those moods...

correctomundo Fonzie. This is painful. What i hate is...is...how much i hate this side right now. Fucking painful. Without Vinnie, Yaya, and Silva we are strugglers.

It's amazing how much we put down the rags for their threadbare midfield, etc, but jesus fuck the cupboard looks empty in defense, midfield and striking options, doesn't it? sounds like a total fucking joke, but isn't.

What are we going to do about it? These next 3 weeks are "man up" time for everyone in that dressing room. It will dictate the success of our season and we've started it off with a huge goddam whimper.

Johnson can only put a shift in in either defence or attack not both.

Liverpool have run us ragged and gone through our soft centre despite our hard man playing in the middle.

Balo was anonymous.

Besides all that we've done well to just concede one, you know we're looking soft when Nasri comes on and runs rings around the rest of them. The man everyone calls soft looks the livliest so far. Lets hope he keeps it up when he's as tired as the rest are.
Tracking back is overrated.

correct - absolute wank.

The lack of passion and urgency is astonishing. Should of done the team talk on the pitch, they don't deserve to go inside for half time.

Pessimistic me is more worried about the league. Carry on like this and spurs will be licking their lips at the prospect of beating us.

Everyone is saying they hope this is our blip. A pretty bad fucking time to have a blip. We could be knocked out of two competitions in 10 days.

Silverware. With our squad and resources.

Another blessing I suppose?

Fuck off.

Excuses, excuses.
If we want to be champions we have to be able to win games with one or two key players missing.

Easily the worst 45 this season, and that includes the first half of last weekend. I'd suggest Stefan has 45 minutes to resurrect his City career.

Biiiig turnaround required.

Well, it was a penalty in my book. At least we've improved a bit over the first twenty minutes. However Johnson and NDJ have been very poor.

Goal in second half and I'll be happy with a draw.

never knew only 2 mistakes in one half could ruin a career. He was quite good on the weekend, now one bad half and everyone thinks he's shit.

yeah, yeah, yeah it's the match day thread but at least have some memory
