Two points dropped - they only looked like they wanted it when we had three at the back - ten minute's effort isn't enough and they need to ask themselves some questions.

Sorry mate - thats the ref for you and I do agree I was probably biased against him earlier but we were not getting the questionable decisions at all. However, apart from the last 10 minutes, most of the team need a massive kick up the arse.

too many were not willing to put in the hard work, and i include dzeko in that, overall he had a good game but was always too static when crosses were coming in

What I really have difficulty understanding is that the first half and much of the second we try walking the ball into the net, yet twice we shoot from outside the box we get a goal! Not enough urgency early on in games and not enough shots to try and score.

Well it's still do-able!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Agreed. Cattermole as well just for his slow walk off when subbed at the end. Did Sunderland celebrate like they had just won the league as it seems it is customary for teams when they beat/draw against us?

It's over for fuck sake.

We had so many lessons this spring, that we would had been fucking to the moon and back. So many late wins, comebacks and anything that can be considered as a morale boost. We can't use them in our advantage, because the next day we fuck things up. Week after week we say the next game we need to pull ourselves together, but then the same old story.

Aleks had a decent game. He got the ball into dangerous areas, one of his corners should have been converted and he scored a good goal. Overall nowhere near good enough. We've been playing poorly since Xmas and it was only a matter of time before it showed up in a poor result at home.

If the last 15 minutes taught Roberto Mancini one fucking lesson - AND he actually learned from it - it's that when we get bodies into the box in numbers it makes life far more difficult for defenders and much easier for our wide men to cause total panic / bagatelle / pinball.

Far too often good quality crosses come in and there's only one or two of our players in any position to make use of them.

Very frustrated that Mario has the potential to score goals like that but spends most of his time slipping and complaining.

My overall reaction to the result:

Thought the Pizarro sub helped open the game up, too.
