Here's the news piece from his official site: http://fernandinhooficial.com/?p=347
What's interesting is this graph comparison of him vs Yaya ...

I'm not sure about this one. He really better be world class to justify the price.
Of course you're second guessing it. If it was a whiskeynose signing you'd be all over it, saying how City missed out. We just added another great, entertaining player to our squad. Enjoy it you miserable fuck!
Also, since when should we care about the transfer fee?!? It's not like the Sheik is going to run out of $40 billion anytime soon. Let him handle the money, let the media and other fans bitch about it, and we can enjoy the results of it! FFS

It's Barry and Garcia who will have limited games.
Team could set up a number of ways.
Hart
Zaba. Komps. Nasti. Clichy
Navas. Yaya. Milner
Silva. Cavani. Aguero
Same back four and GK
Navas. Yaya. Fernandinho. Silva
Cavani. Aguero
Nasri can fit in where silva or Navas play. If Cavani doesn't come, Dzeko and/or Teves can replace him.

he was?? fucking lol.
Mase wrote:Nowt like our own fans putting pressure on a new signing by claiming if he's not world class he can fuck off (or something along those lines).
I've heard he's hard. Not in the same way as Doomie.
But someone told me that Garcia was nicknamed "the gladiator" before he got to City, so I'll probably wait and judge the Gelson wannabe off my own eyes.

Can't you debate without throwing a childish insult?

You're not really helping your own case there are you?Bridge'srightfoot wrote:I'm sure he's a talented player. I just think it's a lot of money for a 28 year old.
Why you feel the need to moan about it or even care is beyond me. No mention from you about excitement or looking forward to seeing the man play. Only a boring re-run of "City spending too much boo hoo".
Rich people also pay $15 for a bud light in some clubs here in DC. Do I care? No, let them spend their money. Even better when their spending means more entertainment for City fans and a greater chance that we will be challenging for titles.

yet, last window when Mancini wanted to upgrade quickly the board lagged ass and didnt want to splash the cash.

I agree with the last bit, not completely but mostly. I mean it's not like even one million pounds for a human being. What's the amount of money a club makes from winning the league and making it to the cl?
