Seriously, does anyone know what the fuck is going on with this Garcia nonsense. Texted me mate in Moscow to say Lescott must be feckin shit. I mean the whole feckin Garcia thing is total nonsense and will get Pellers the sack. He is not quick enough or hard enough end of feckin story, so feckin why, why ,why?I can't believe Kidd is sanctioning this so is the Count blind or feckin stupid?Play someone who tackles and heads you chump. That's twice now he's affronted common football sense. It was disastrous v Bayern and could have been tonight. Its driving me mad. Good bit is Dave's back to his best.

The result was everything tonight, but we cannot keep getting away playing a slow, lead footed, weak as water holding midfielder at Centre Half. It makes no sense at all.

Im sure we will have changes for sunday; we must have them, otherwise Chelsea will score 3 or 4 against our back 4 if Garcia is in it. He isn't a Centre half and it shows every time.

I just hope Vinny is fit because most of us wrongly assumed e had saved lescott for this game, where as now it's apparent he actually thinks Garcia is a better centre half. Baffling.

And, as we saw early doors v Everton, if Lescott doesn't get decent game time to get him sharp, he is going to become the lumbering nightmare, managers seem determined to turn him into.

What bugs me is yeah jolean has these odd poor defensive games, but Garcia is that permanently.

I honestly don't see how anyone paid to be a professional football manager can look at Garcia an think he's a better centre half than lescott.

I just dont get how Garcia is still here. surely the front office sees how shit he is. move him for any amount of money.

i dont get how he gets outjumped and outmuscled by Honda, CSKA's smallest player, for the first goal. he looks glacial and makes Mertesacker look quick. why Lescott is being overlooked is beyond me. even if he and Nasti are both left-footed they should still be played together over Garcia. please let Demich get healthy quick (or Vinnie for that matter).

Dzeko looked woeful when replacing Negredo, who had another great showing.

Our defense is shit. End of. luckily Joe Hart surprisingly saved us at the death. the commentators said "how is Man City, one of the richest clubs in the world. resigned to playing Garcia--a slow midfielder--as a center half when Vinnie goes down. City should be able to plug in a good quality CB, not Garcia" and thats completely right.

For a minute lets assume that's the case and he wants a right footed player there. So we also can assume that he believes Garcia can do a better job than a right footed Richards there.
It reminds me of Mancini stubbornness in a similar position.

Special shout-out to Martin Tyler who was almost in tears when that Cska goal was disallowed. He also set the record for the number of Man U name drops in a commentary the biased bastard. Schmeichel was a turd as well, but thank god for Sounness who provided a voice of reason. You'd think we were playing Chesterfield this evening the way they spoke about Cska.

4 points from the next 2 home games and we are through. Radical thought - why not win them both and make Bayern have to get something from us on the final game. We can have a free swing at that game as nobody expects us to get anything from it.

Please please please dont play Garcia on sunday. Otherwise we are fuct at Chelsea.

We'll beat Bayern too !

Two quick questions

Was yaya racially abused? Cska saying no I couldn't hear over my kids!

Is yaya actually on twitter? Haven't seen anything official but keep seeing reports linked to his account.

Cheers

It's all on the OS mate, quotes from Yaya and a club statement about it too. So he certainly believes he was and don't see what he'd gain from making it up.

Apparently he speaks Russian too so suspect there where some chants maybe? With CSKA saying nothing was done wrong - hopefully UEFA will grow a set and screw them over.

How come those "No To Racism" banners and posters were in English and not Russian? The game was in Moscow!

Are you a paid prof manager ? I'm not making a case for any player but with the baggage this squad carries, Kidd still in the background, it does not make sense to continuously ask a midfield player to drop into the back four . Even as a favour.....

The management are supposed to know what they are doing

Or close the ground, which has been closed for months, for a week.

Dynamo Zagreb are playing against PSV in an empty stadium tonight, as punishment (together with a fine) for racist chanting. Don't know if it will help, but at least something is done more than flying that Respect banner around.
