Generally I agree, but when it comes to keeper it's different because being the backup usually means far less games, so more likely to unsettle someone who believes they should start.

Again, one possibility could be giving the cup keeper CL to offer more games, and prestige.

Joe's distribution is much improved this season. It's true he rarely makes the long throws that miss out the opposition forwards and midfield to set up an attack, but he has mainly cut out the kicks into touch. In the Leicester home game for example I counted one from Joe against 4 from Schmeichel.
