Does seem strange alright and none of us would have predicted it.
But maybe, The Hart situation is seen as a higher priority issue for the team spirit that Pep is repeatedly saying has to come first.

Mancini dropped Hart, Pelligrini dropped Hart, it appears Pep is just going to deal with the situation. Bravo Pep Bravo.

tbh, i think we should've. we were being linked to something like 8 keepers across the summer. the only rumours about Bony leaving came within the last 2 weeks (Everton + Arsenal). there's a reason we were linked to so many keepers throughout the summer. Pep had his mind made up early on about Joe and probably just gave him some time in friendlies to confirm his belief.

When Bayern were getting grumpy with Pep over his focus, Pretty sure that was when Pep was in chats with his best pal Txiki about the outs at City, I predicted this Hart situation months ago on here, his continual panic on the ball, has caused THIS, for the record he has done wonders at times, with better feet he would be one hell of a goalkeeper, however I suspect he has hung himself with Pep, just a guess BTW. The point is teams get set with Hart on the ball for so long, that is criminal, Pep is not gonna have that he wants the pass in your mind way before you get the ball, not a shite touch or 3 and BOOM ! eez football and Hart could have should have sorted it, he is in the best facility in world football and Valdes was down the road twiddling his Thumbs !

Could not copy it all..“We are big squad with two big players in Joe Hart’s position and it’s going to be tough, the competition is there. That happens with all the big teams when you have big squad.
“But the competition is very healthy, we are a team and we believe the team is more important individual. Of course, we need to continue that way. Joe can leave if he wants I don't care as he is very weak as goalie, I mean to say my dog is better at kicking the ball than him.

Can you post the link to where you copied from? Would be nice to see the source.

All I can find is the daily fail which is scraped from 360nobs, apparently. Link

No mention of dogs.....
