It seems like Laporte is now Pep's first choice CB. I think he's started every match so far this season.
It's hard to blame Pep though; I cant remember Aymeric not being good since his arrival in January.

He was awful at LB against the dippers. Although I blame Pep for that, he's not a LB and it was suicide playing him there against Mo Salad

He is going to be best in the league, id argue hes not far off that now.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,

That's just typical of our media and especially with the World cup nonsense. John Stones was our best center back then but the media have made him into something he just isn't.
We are lucky that we have Stones,Laporte and Otter with Kompany not bad in 4th place. No problems playing any of those 4 and it would seem we are going to see plenty of rotation there
