The thing that worries me about the wholesale changes is will this happen again in CL like the Lyon fiasco, too many changes disrupted the rhythm of the team

I am not sure how or why both Chelsea and rags appear favourites to be signing Haaland (rhetorical, I know its pure click bait), the figure being banded around is £110m , we should go a minimum balls out £150m if not £200m which equates to £20m a season IMO.

I'm not normally one for saying sign X at all costs, but in this instance it is a total and utter no brainer, that's even without the historical connection with us and what our ambitions as a club are .

A player of that calibre surely would relish the idea of filling Sergio's boots?

I'm hoping Pep has learnt in CL, I think today was more a tactical gamble based on having only played Wednesday, having to play again on Tuesday before the rags game next weekend.

I honestly think he's starting to realise how much a big deal our derbies are.

I suspect he will play a similar team as today on Tuesday (with ability to switch it up like he did today) and then switch back to the engine that has carried us through the majority of those 20 wins for the derby, or at least I hope so.

Today was a bigger win than just the 3pts we won.
It was becoming obvious that there would have to be a game that we would have to regather our resources for the next phase of gamesand today was the day and we got through it.
Our recent very successful run was not just earned by us swanning around and picking up wins, it was earned with eskill efort and spent energy.
There had to be a point when we had to pay the bill, rest players, give minutes to KDB and Kun particularly.

3pts gained against a very good side who were organised and prepared to have a go at us was a better result than we may have expected.
Cancelo, Rodri, Foden, Bernie, Sterling and Jesus all rested, KDB qnd Kun given minutes and yardage in their legs.

Pep trusted the squad and took the risk. Sometimes it was a bit hairy but we got through it.
Probably worth taking the risk because of Dias and Stones being so reliable...not only at the back but today taking the repsonsibility at the front

Life and the fixtures go on and now we have had a small chance to regroup ready for the next phase of games at 2 per week.

A really good day...3pts and bonuses.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT
