Still no striker and left back, although now Mendy is fucked, at least that means he can't be selected and fuck us up again.

How many times do I post 'wasn't really arsed' could take it or leave it etc. At this rate it just looks like we binned our best ever striker with still a few goals left in him - for fuck all. The only positive being Jesus gets a good chance to prove himself

People are over reacting. Spafia do a good job.
The club does massive due diligence on potential targets. They walk away when asked for silly money. The signings made are generally very good.

This summer they messed up over Kane. But I wonder why were they really confident that they would get him? They must have got inaccurate info from Charlie.
Grealish is a good signing maybe even a great one.
Ronaldo was a last minute opportunity that they had to look at. It did not work out, nobody's fault.

So messing up over Kane has left a big gap. The LB position I reckon they are waiting to get the Portuguese kid. That makes sense.

The only real mess up was Mendy and when he arrived he was very good pre injuries.

Compare the Spafia to the Rags, no comparison.

City were offered the possibility of signing Ronaldo but we’re never interested. This has been manufactured by Juventus and Mendes .

Say so at the time and nobody thinks bollocks!!!

Clubs transfer policy is to do due diligence on players, walk away if quoted silly prices, have a resale value, wait for an opportune moment to sign even if that means waiting a year i.e. like Ruben and Rodri.

The exact opposite of the Ronaldo deal.
I believe the club. They had a look because the opp was there and then said No.

Does anyone remember when Berrarda came here?
I've might have missed it, but he is a name that popped up in the past years and wonder what is his involvement in our transfers.

City probably believed Kane when he said he had an agreement to leave.

Fine with me.

I was fine with it before, and intrigued, but what we know is he fancied us, he flirted with us, and he preferred us over them. They were 2nd choice, clearly.

Meanwhile, I'm not in complete panic like some of our fans on this. We can still win the PL and even CL with what we have.

Foden and Torres and maybe even Delap will get more of a chance to see what they can do in the position, and we will be in for either Kane, Lewandowski or Halland or some other striker who emerges.

Remember KDB had one insane season at Wolfsburg before we signed him as the "Chelsea Reject."
