good job eddie saved one. bit lucky with that bc his weak hands nearly let it slip through again. overall he had a shit game and a shit preseason. needs to improve.

Issue for McAtee is he had fuck all movement in front of him. Hard to impress when your striker is walking around.

I know you love anyone (fairly) young mate, but he's just not at our level.

I’ll trust Pep (after todays game) -

“It is difficult to find players with a sense of goal in small spaces who attack the final third and McAtee has that quality," Guardiola said. "That's why I said to Txiki at the beginning of the season that I don't want to loan him and I don't want to sell him because I need his specific quality in small spaces. James has this ability.”

I am agreement in the main. I don’t think he will be proved good enough by the seasons end. Time will tell

But, this was by no means near our first team and it was treated as another warm up game so to judge him on this game is unfair to the lad

Can we talk abiut haaland though?

Summer off, full pre season. Bern runs more in 2 minutes. Worried.

Definitely didn’t seem arsed. That midget has bullied him last two times they’ve played.

I’m sure he’ll be fine this season though.

Same old Haaland. 3 or 4 goals at Chelsea and you'll feel much better

He'll still be PL top scorer in the coming season, so you can quit worrying. :)

Bernie is a good lad to have in your team. If you call 99 he's the first to start throwing punches

Though the mural of him when it goes up needs to be simply him holding a brew, not giving a fuck
