Our most successful manager and one of the best ever, undone by a steadfast view that his methods are the best and will overcome most opponents, and the majority of a team that don't give a fuck or are past their sell by and have been smelling rotten for months.
Put in a team of kids and try them out wholesale. The longer it goes on, the more this is on our playing staff downing tools. Unfortunately Pep will not recover until this team is gutted

I for one will be gutted as I have never seen and probably won't see again football played the way we have past 10yrs.

Doubt we'd let him go mid-season without a replacement and I don't see any contenders out there.

Hope the part about him going isn’t correct.

Hope the part about him outing the players in the dressing room is spot on.

He kind of alluded to this in his post match interview. When asked when the missing players were back he shrugged and said he didn’t know. And his body language to me seemed like he didn’t care

Something has happened and I wouldn’t put it passed the English lads that are behind it. Walker, Stones, Grealish, Foden - all been class A cunts this season.

Anyone heard about Pep being over the side with a City physio or another woman? Apparently Pique’s ex gf has been spreading shite?

It really does need the chairman to tell these players who the boss is and why.

Given that, they planned who to get before pep came and built a team up from existing squad and newbies. They can do it again. Even if we have to wait a season for it all to gel

These are strange times for sure, it will come out. I thought him and Lee leaving was odd, the team are not right, but not so easy to get rid. The characters might have been more important than some realised, conspiring possibly
however the story is coming to a conclusion one way or another

I would have prefered for him to leave at the end of last season rather than now, mid season.

But I am very convinced Khaldoon will not sack him, no matter how this season ends.

Unless you’re there one cannot tell what the atmosphere is like in the dressing room. My impression from what’s going on outside, particularly on the pitch, is that it can’t be a happy or confident place. That being pretty obviously so, there must be a reason for it. One of the most striking things about the documentaries about our tremendous successes is the obvious kinship and love and respect that the players clearly had for each other during those times……brief but telling glimpses. My feeling now is that it’s over as far as that is concerned for whatever reasons and is obvious that that togetherness is not evident on the pitch regardless of the injuries. Can he rebuild it ? I’m not sure because you have to sign the right player with the right character…..and there’s certainly not many of those around. We’ll see.
