Is Phil McNulty a prat or what ?

Khuso was not struggling . Pep took him off because the ref targeted him with an unbelievable yellow card - which is why pep got one too.

we have to protect the players like this. Nuff said, Nico played really well and i would hope Pep goes with a back four of Nico, josko, dias and Khuso on wednesday.

That was the softest yellow I've seen in years.

Iraola's astute move to put Semenyo on the right worked wonders for us . Nico had him totally under control and made nackered him with his forward movements.

Thanks Iraola , saved Nunes from a disaster too , He actually looked more productive in the second half.

As soon as Jack came on we had total control of that game. Admittedly he should be more clinical in front of goal , but he doesn’t give the ball away, just what was needed, poor first half, very good second half.

To be fair, Bournemouth have had a great season, got some good players, we can't expect them to roll over at home for City. Especially as the City season has been so indifferent. City were not great in the first half. However there were many golden chances going wasted.

Really enjoyed that second half. There’s still the raw ingredients of the old City there. We completely dominated them and kept the ball. Marmoush making runs, Jack keeping the ball, O’Reilly playing well - lots to be positive about.

Really hope Nunes isn’t seen at RB ever again. The guy is just plain awful. Positioning all over the shop - yeah he’s not a defender but neither is O’Reilly and he was able to cope. Hope we get any sort of offer from Saudi in the summer, because that transfer was one of our worst.

Pep does what we have all been begging him to do for weeks and we go on to win the game.

Buzzing with the win.

Fact is though, had Pep been tapping in to our great Academy products for weeks and using them we would be in a much better position league wise. Nico Reilly was exceptional when he come on, as he was against Plymouth.

It isn't genius management to turn a game around by repairing your own fuck ups. With the better players you have at your disposal.

We demand to see more of these special Kids every week, and we have been doing for months.

For me a Top 4 finish from this point on, and an FA Cup Final will still be a great season. Only entitled Glory hunters will see it differently.

Pep has been the biggest problem this Season. That is a fact.

He can redeem himself from this point on. Rather than reverting to type.

Hearing Haaland will likely miss the derby.

Might be a blessing in disguise, has done pretty much nothing in big games this season if we are being honest. Has been like playing with 10 Men in many of the big games.

We will be guaranteed 11 on the Pitch in the derby, Marmoush movement and energy is better. We could play the False 9.Forces the Rags to have to defend deeper. Rather than just man marking Haaland out of the game. Knowing we will just try and hit Balls over from the Flanks.

Feel for Nunes. He cannot get a game in mf but he definitely is not a rb. Another example of a player not being able to up their game where expectation is higher. To your point though, look at O’Reilly and he is not a lb. Made the difference yesterday hope he stays there til we can get him a game in the middle

Nico O Reilly must be given more opportunity, clearly he is 'ready', he made an impact Bournemouth were not expecting. Foden needs a prolonged break from the team, he looks miles off it and needs time out to get his head sorted. I would start Jack instead of him at the moment and I never thought I would think that.
Looks like Haaland out for a few games, no false 9s for me play Omar there.

Agree on all points.

In fact , I would not be bothered if Haaland is injured for the rest of the season as I think we play better without him....In fact , we do play better without him.

O Reilly was great yesterday and totally changed the game but the fact is Orient away Pep had to take him and McAtee off and put the experienced bods on to change the game.He then played very well against Plymouth and hopefully yesterday cemented his place for Wednesday.
As regards Haaland not doing it in big games this season he scored against Arsenal home and away, 2 against Real Madrid, away at Chelsea, the winner at Tottenham- it's not too bad.

An Fa cup final and top 4 finish will still be a disappointing season for me. A cup final win makes it better but still disappointing. I'm not a glory hunter, the big thing this season is that a few bubbles have been burst

If we get CL qualification and win the FA Cup we'll have had a more successful season than everyone bar the dippers.
It's only the bar we've set that makes us pissed off with it.

Borh true but it's important for us to turn this years' shit-show around and start with fresh hunger next season. IF we miss out on top 4, I think the club will act. That's not in our business model regardless of this summer tournament and the potential ££
