We should all chip in for a reply in the Gazetto dello Sport (or whatever it's called)!

That is pure class....I hope I get to be at the Etihad the first time he comes back with whoever he ends up managing. He will get...and deserves to get...a brilliant reception.

As others have said, he presided over the most important three seasons of Manchester City of most of our lives. He'll never be forgotten for that.

Forza Mancini

Put a lump in my throat when I saw this. Pure class.

As for a reply I'm sure if it was in the MEN he would be made aware of it. Either way I would put money to it.

it shows he appreciated the support he got, he didn't have to do it so it's a lovely gesture from him. Thanks again for the good times.

It has already been said, but it is a nice touch and despite what has been said, he will be respected because of the success he has brought us by myself and many more.

He didnt have to do it, but bear in mind his settlement will include a confidentiality clause hence why we havent heard from him about his sacking, this is a nice gesture, but also conveniently doubling as a way to stir up trouble for the board with a pro-mancini show of lemmings at tomorrows game singing his name.

I just wanna get this next month put of the way and put all this silliness to bed for everyone's sake

I'm not overlooking the timing, don't worry! (and would have preferred it if he didn't use three massive trophies as the centre piece). I still wish him well for the future despite deciding we would be better off without him just before he was sacked, and I'm sure the Mancini chant would have been used without this being published.

Why shouldn't he put the three trophies there??! He fuckin won them so he deserves to!

We've had so much shit about sacking him and how bad it makes the club look, having the three trophies he won won't make ANYTHING worse!

Good that.

I for one am quite pleased to see that trio of trophies.

Sod reading anything into it, it is a genuine nice statement to the fans and an uncalled for statement. He didn't have to do it, but then the vocal majority would have liked to have said farewell in person. Whoever comes in next has a lot to live up to and as someone already hinted it an example of good PR - our PR should look at that, shake their heads and hand in their notices, because we are miles away from being the slick
