Does look rather like that picture Socrates used to have on his signature on here, without the headband!

Socrates was the coolest player ever...fact!

That is a powerful fucking look. Next time I make some moves down to sportsdirect I'm buying headbands. massive flannel headbands.

Heard you :)

Six month deal

It works great. It don't then no harm done.

Cue long threads on the significance of six months and does Mancini know what he is doing? Never has a six month deal caused so much angst

Buzzing.
Nice little stand in to see us through to the summer that.
Hopefully he'll teach De Jong how to bring the ball out of defence a bit to make him the complete player.

So the official position is it's a six months deal with an option for another 12, well put this way it's a win-win situation for City imho.

You have to admit with this our squad looks fuclin awesome - injury free Paddy could be THE most significant signing of all - passing on that most subliminal and abstract of mindsets in sport - a winning mentality!!

Bigger fish to fuck yeah.

The signing is a dream come true though - signed him on LMA Manager 2002 and he was brilliant, him and Hidetoshi Nakata ripped it up - that was 8 years ago though... when he was good.

MEN:
City complete Vieira deal
January 08, 2010

PATRICK Vieira has signed a six-month deal with Manchester City.

The former Arsenal and Inter Milan man becomes Roberto Mancini's first signing for the Blues, and is expected to go straight into the squad to face Blackburn on Monday.

“Patrick is a world class midfielder with a winner’s mentality and will fit into this group very well,” Mancini told www.mcfc.co.uk

"He knows me and my staff well, and importantly he also knows what the Premier League is all about. He will not need much time to settle in

“Patrick is one of the great players of his era with every almost every honour in the game against his name. I am sure City fans will welcome him warmly and appreciate the contribution he will make.”
