Obviously not, but out of all the academy products you could keep it looks like Richards is the one who will stay, why? What improvement has he made in the last couple of years please let me know because I think he's gone backwards! He still hasn't learnt how to play at full back and if you watch the NY Red Bulls highlights(i think or Dortmund) Boateng plays at right back and crosses a lovely ball into the box, something Micah hasn't done once whilst playing at fullback so why is he still on the pitch?

Kompany, Ned, Zabba, Boateng can all play right back and IMO are all better than Richards!

Agree about Boateng though.

Ned has improved his positional play and distribution(still not fantastic at passing) from the back and although a centre back is still more reliable at right back than Richards. He also uses the ball unlike Micah when he gets in the opponents half.

Mad Zabba is a defensive midfield player but knows what you have to do to play fullback, mark the player who comes into the space don't just follow the ball or ball watch MICAH.

Kompany is a versatile player who can pass, tackle and head and if needed could play right back I think the last time he played there was in Europe. Like the other two he also knows the difference between playing centre back and full back!

Great defensive display today and would have took 0-0 before KO. Joe Hart, Kompany, K Toure and De Jong deserve mention.
