It was my mum and dad who got me into football and City, although I did have a brief stint at trying to be a Blackburn fan when we first moved up here. It didn't work out though, and I crawled back to my blue family with my tail firmly stuck between my legs! Anyway, I've been a die-hard Blue ever since and I'll be passing that on to my boy when he's born in a couple of months.

It's rare I can get to a game due to finances/travel etc. but I have fond memories of the 4-1 win at Ewood Park that brought us back to the PL in 2000 I reckon that's my happiest memory of a City game. Anyway, hello and I'll probably go back to lurking again now!

Anyway welcome to 'above the paraphet'. Lurking is now officially banned whilst we are good, as there are none of those mortal fights we used to have on here about everything bad!

I'm a big fan of City, but i have never been to a game because it's a long way from home. Im from Sweden by the way. I have planned to travel to Manchester and see one or two games when I have the money.
And why I started to like Manchester City was because my friends liked different teams such as Chelsea and Liverpool but when I watched one match I felt no passion for the teams, and a few weeks later I saw a City match, and that's when I felt the love and the passion. A major factor was the players, the colors, but mostly how they played ball.
And then I have always hated Man Utd! And their players such as Rooney, R Giggs, Ferdinand, and Ferguson!!
Greetings from Sweden!!

25-35 quid depending on where you're sat.
For cheap hotels, check Travel Lodge or Diamond Lodge.

Last time I was at a home game (v Wigan, Zabba scored), it was £20.50. How times have changed, eh?

City fan of over 45 yrs based in Cheadle Hulme Stockport.
My first question (apologies if it's been asked elsewhere!) is Mario B injured or out of favour with RM?
Can't believe he's been dropped on form so wondering why he wasn't on the bench.
Look forward to reading more about the 'one religion' that is MCFC!

Wigan at home was £25 for me this season so they haven't changed that much.

.....erm!...excuse me!...but do you still have room on here for an ageing fat bastard.
I have been a City fan since 423BC when the team used to change in an old damp and mouldy shoe box. The players only had 1 boot between them and I well remember that after they passed the ball, players had run accross and give the boot to the next player.
Regretfully,my old coal driven laptop burnt out and I couldn't afford to have the chimney swept. Just got back online and thought I'd check out if this new laptop and tinterweb connections were all working properly.
luv n hugs to all
